| First cyan fruits ever! My buddy swim just took down his first two cyan fruits ever! This is very exciting for him, this is the first time hes fruited something other than cubes. These are Pan cyan Viet, when he applied the casing layer, he noticed 12 hours later that these two guys were growing from the side, so these guys popped before the casing was even applied. The casing was applied 3-4 days ago and he's starting to see other pins start to show, hopefully he can get a good pinset. Its been rather annoying sleeping in a room thats 82 degree's, but the cubes don't seem to mind at all, growing just as good, he's noticed their a little more hollow than fleshy due to the heat. My buddy swim hopes to show you guys a pinset soon! love, peace, compassion and respect -wishy

| Congratulations...! I think if I'm not mistaken,Viets are second strongest after Pan Cambo... I think it's rather strange that they pinned before casing. Do you have any idea's why that happened ?

| After my buddy swim spawns his cases, they are too big to fit inside his 30 gallon rubbermade incubator used for his qt jars, so he places them on the top self in his closet to colonize, he noticed that the heat in the room rises to that shelf and even though the room temp may be 76, on top of the shelf it's around 80. The problem is light gets in, and the containers he uses for cases are clear containers, duct tape is used to stop side pinning but light still can get in through to the top layer. This cyan case was 100% colonized for 3 or 4 days before my buddy swim added a casing layer. I think a mix of humidity, light, and the fact that the case itself only takes up half the height of the container, so a good amount of air is in there also, lead to pinning. Also i am a little suspicious that cyans need a casing layer, but this needs more experimenting. I'm so stupid!, i didn't know that cyans had no veil, so those fruits were picked pretty mature. Live and learn, experience is learning. love, peace, compassion and respect -wishy

| Oh i forgot to ask, my buddy swims cases that were already in 2nd flush and what not are not having a problem in the 82 degree tent with the cyans, in fact they looked beautiful. But he is worried about the new cases that are in there, that have yet to pop the first flush, is the heat going to stop them from fruiting?

I think a casing layer it very important for Pans, because I see alot of different results when I experiment with casing layers.

| Maybe thats why swim is just getting random fruits around the side and one in the middle? His sub was 50% hpoo, 25 coir, 25 verm, and the casying layer was 60/40 verm coir. Which is not that different than the sub itself? but then again it was cased only 4 days ago so it is still soon
