![]() | So I had 36 days exactly to pull this off...[11 days on normal pf jars]
I had to get my supplies, make 24 half pint pf jars, colonise, birth, fruit, dry, and make into chocolates. I finished 5 days early So why did I need them by 36 days? I am going on vacation Why PF jars and not some insane casing. Cuz there tried and true almost 100% guarantee....not to mention faster. So, I got to working and order my spores next day air. I then put out my money order next day to Ralph. I sent it out on March 10th thursday, he recieved it on friday, and I recieved my package on March 14th monday! Big thanks to Ralphstersspores for the incredibly fast service....So I begin making the jars on the 14th. On the 15th I pc them and let them sit over night. I innoced them on the 16th. 19 South American jars and 5 Hawaiian. Thankfully I had some insanely fast colonising jars out of the batch. About 9 of them were done completely on the 26th-27th...Thats right 10-11 days on normal pf jars...VERY fast for multispore. They were all SA's. The Hawaiians were slow as hell. The rest of the SA's finshed around the 29th (some on the 30th but was only a couple). The Hawaiians took forever somewhere aorund 15 days. Infact the hawaiians just now have knots... My SA's have almost completely finished their first flushed and have been dried lol. Sadly...I lost the pics of the cakes in the terrarium and picks of the first picked batch. I just have the pics of the caps after I cut them off (it was in my recycling bin because I deleted it due to its quality). I transferred the pics on to my comp from the camera. Deleted the ones that sucked and went to take more of the ones I had picked a bit later. Loaded those onto my computer and the other ones dissapeared. I believe because they had the same name...as I deleted them from my camera immediatly because it was gonna sit around for awhile I didn't want anyone browsing. So when you take more from where you left off I found it names them the same as the ones you had deleted. Anyways, if I find them hiding somewhere in a folder on my comp I'll post them. Pic1) Heres the first few I picked. It's just the caps but you can get an idea. I think some of the caps were around 3 inches. Pic2) 2nd batch to open veils later that day. Pic3) Some decent size SA's from the second batch (not quite as big as some in the first though) Pic4) Hmmm looks like this one had a hard time loosing its skirt. Quite the blue around the rim of the cap. Pic5) Looks potent yum. Pic6) 3rd batch that was ready later that night Pic 7) 4th batch ready I believe a day later Pic 8) 4th batch abhorts from some of the cakes due to green men attacking it Pic 9) These are VERY blueee. Pic 10) These are very wierd...must be something wrong humidity or something. There were only two like this and the rest were pretty dense and decent size so not too big of a deal I guess. I ended up tossing 4 cakes due to serious green problems and there are bout 4 more that have green on them that have given some fruits but the smaller pins that were coming up abhorted...Lost quite a bit of weight The green all came from the bottom layer of verm on the DE casing. This was supposed to also be an experiment for DE casings in a georock chamber not directly on the rocks compared to the next grow of same strain directly on the rocks. Not going to work out I guess though Sorry guys. Not to mention I lost all the pics in the beginning. There are still some more fruits coming and the current weight is 224.4 wet grams from 13 cakes. The 5 Hawaiians just now have Knots and hopefully wont contam. Pretty decent for 13 cakes I guess. 4 Cakes thrown away due to green 2 Cakes with a ton of small pins abhorted due to green so those will be chucked also. *I only did ONE thing different in the PF formula. I took some cowmanure mixed with a bunch of grain and other things that sat in rain etc for month + and used it in the water I used to hydrate the PF mixture. This made a huge difference it seems. *Disclaimer- I found this story at the local park on the ground and I thought it was interesting enough to post. It also had a cd with all the pictures which I found very interesting.

Some more pics and notes I found in the park...I started leaving notes and weve become pen pals so he/she can answer questions and reply. Pic 1 & 2) Some more SA's I picked today still first flush Pic 3) Made some outdoor casings out of the contammed ones ended up throwing out like 7 cakes now I think. I did put some extra stuff over top after taking the picture We will see what becomes of them.Hopefully I'll have some pics of some hawaiian fruits in few days they are pinning. I think I am at 289.2 for first flush should only be few moe coming on that one I'll weigh the hawaiians seperate if they don't green.

The first Hawaiian that was ready As you can see in the pic it is distinctly different than the SA's I like the look of it. There are many decent size pins on the cakes if I got time I will leave some pics in the park to be posted
