| Jalisco pins...! Last year I tried growing Jalisco after the succes Prankster had with this specie ! At the time it began pinning I had to throw it away, because I had some more important casings on the way,and also because it was pinning to slow ! This year I made 4 jars with a mixture of 90% grasss-seeds,5 % Vermiculiet and 5% BRF... The grassseeds were first cooked in Cacium for 30 minutes before I used it. It collonized like crazy and two weeks later it was fully collonized... The four jars were put in a plastic container and some more moist vermiculiet was mix in... Later I added peat/coir and Verm. as a top casing layer. Today (1 1/2 weeks later) I saw pins nicely devided all over the tray ! ![]() Hopefully I get as many shrooms as Prankster did ! Here some pictures... ![]()

| Anything . Temps, substrate depth and so on. Your grow is perfect or nearly perfect so it's worth to know all the details that made it so good.SWIM has a few jars of these as well on rye berries and he wanted to make use out of them soon. Unfortunately his jars colonize pretty slowly so he still has got some time till he uses the spawn, but he doesn't want to mess things up .

| Okay well, first thing I did is not use jars as spawn, but instead ..make substrate.. fill jar ,innoculate, incubate and fill the tray ! I have good reason to believe that this will give better results, because the mushroom myc. can really 'control' the substrate this way... (Could be wrong tho..lol) Substrate depth is aboud 5 cm... The casing layer depth is 1cm with a little verm topping (that was added after collonizing) and incubated for +- 11 days maybe two weeks, not really sure. Temperature in the Terrarium is around 26-27oC. Rh is aboud 98 % with two air bubbler running 24 hours a day in two warm water tanks (for air and humidity) No perilite is used. I ventilated the whole terrarium 2 times a day aswell. I hope this is any help to you..! ![]() Probably have new pics tommorow !
