contam test

just tossing some pickling lime on a contam seeing if it will slow it down. never tried it before and have heard mixed results. anyone try this?

let me know some info. wondering if it will pool up with water or just sit on top like a powder mountain.

It'll slow it down for a few days and then will spread out around lime. Kosher salt works a lot better IMO.

yeah thats what i use. just figured id give it a go.

i'd think salt would be the better aseptic, but i've also held to believe that once trichoderma hits, it's sharing the entire network, and it'll just pop up somewhere else that's got the right conditions on the substrate for it to spooge it's green yuckiness!
