Exclamation Z-Strain Deformities *Check This Out*

I'm going to give as much background as I can to find out why this is happening.
I think it is simply bunk genetics, but if there is any reason this happened, I'd like to know what it is.
I have pictures from jar colonization to fruiting.
I have several years of growing experience and am baffled by this
    This is Z-Strain
    Took 11 days to colonize
Given 7 days to colonize in incubation
Took 5 days in fruiting environment before hyphals were forming
The colonization of jars/casing was fast, then the pinning was slow, and now the fruits are growing very slowly
The deformities are shown in the pictures and appear to be fruits fruiting on top of the fruit's caps
Every single fruit in the casing is doing the same thing
The jars were organic yellow popcorn
The casing is 60/40 coir/verm with 3% lime
There are no comtams underneath, on top, or visible in any way
The odd part of this situation is that there was another casing I have also posted a picture of that fruited perfectly
The other casing was texan, and the only difference was a more shallow casing layer
The Texan casing is already done its' first flush and being dunked and recased
The fruiting chamber is fanned 2-5 times a day and given 30-120 minutes of light a day
The bases of the stem are now turning brown, heavily, all over the casing

Any insight anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated, my only guess to date is genetics, any other thoughts?

Also, much props to Hippie and all other admins who run this site. I've been using the threads and archives for several months and this is the most resourceful hobby specific forum and archive I have ever seen.

I also have about 40 cc's of this particular multispore in syringe still.
I may try to duplicate the results on cakes, or a smaller casing, to see what happens.
I'm concerned because I wanted prints to reproduce the Z, but this could also be educational.

The "fro" feature can actually be bred in and out in many cases. My Mals do almost the same thing on occasion. I like to think I bred it in anyway.....I tried.

How were the yields? If its a good fruiter I wouldn't worry about it. I think they look cool...

Well it has been in the fruiting chamber the same amount of time as the Texas one.
The texas one used 1/2 quart more substrate, and 1/4 the depth for a casing layer and produced a tad over 1.5 ounces.
This one however took forever to pin, and the pins are taking forever to grow.
I don't see them producing well at all, else I wouldn't have a problem with the cool lookin little guys.
The stems turning brown is really the reason I posted to ask people what is going on.
Still bafffled, but perhaps the fruits will take off mutating away!

I've had mush with brown streaks in them, don't know if it means anything tho. If they don't fruit well, I guess you may have a shitty roll of the dice genetically. If you have more multispore noc some more and see what happens. Or fuck em and go with the tex...they're great fruiters...

Of all the thought I put into this problem over the past week, I failed to realized the obvious.
I already have about 7 cakes of various sizes, from 1/2 pint to about 2 pints in size (Random sized rubbermaids), innoced with the same Z multi-spore.
They are pinning now and I should know more in 1-2 days.
That may help shed some light.
I'm still looking for info from anyone who has any facts on this, beside the obvious, eat em up!
    I'll post updated pics tomorrow.
