Hawaiian on Grass Seed

Heres four jars of hawaiian grown on grass seed and cased with verm/coir mix.. These jars were growm with left over rye berries from my bulk tub.. There was just a few left in the spawn jars.

One of these jars has a mycelia spot that grew through the casing and has a beautiful cluster of short fatties on it.. Theyre just starting to pin like crazy..

These jars have like a million pins.. Especially one jar has lots.. One cluster looks like it has ten or more little heads poppin up.. One thing though is that these seem like they're going to mature as very short friuts.. Smallest I've ever gotten.. The cluster that i posted a couple days ago is less than 2 inches tall and a couple of the caps are almost opened up.. Its all good though.. Those mini's are potent..

These took a while longer than usual.. A week n a half almost two weeks.. I had packed down the casing layer too much originally I think.. I loosened it up a bit after the first week and then it did better..

Picked a few early girls.. Not many.. These things are SMALL!! Like less than 2 inches max! The picked ones were just from the cluster.. The first pictures are seconds before picking..

Pins pins pins,,.. Shorties.. These babies look yummy.. Maybe theyll get bigger when 2nd flush comes in.. These are still on first flush.. 80% of the pins havent even gotten big yet... Theres so many..

I dont think its the seeds.. Ive grown way bigger ones on them.. One person told me that the mycelia might not have gotten to the nutrients fully yet and that theyll get bigger.. It could just be the substrain.. There was another myco on here with shorties not too long ago.. The yield should still come out to be the same as if they were biggies.. There might just be more of them.. Lets hope anyways.. Heres a pic of some that were also grown on grass seed cased with soil.. Not hawaiian though...

Theres proof that its not the grass seed. Youll prob get a great 2nd flush from the hawaiians. What strain are those you have there??

Those are the NAN strain.. The same as the prints you got.. The prints were from the same jars those came from just a later flush.. I think.. That was a while ago..

Got 8 grams dry so far off these and the second flush is coming.. Should get around an ounce off these four jars.. They're starting to grow bigger now too.. Theres a birds eye view to show how many pins there are in there.. Millions to come.. Although I am getting lots of aborts its still all good..

IME hawaiians have lots of aborts. The aborts are very strong as you should know from the weekend we triped hard on them.

No,,, rye grass seed is very nutritious, as long as the substrate was dunked and cased , or rez effected/cased its the perfect domain for shroom. I would take a clone just because of the pinset, and try it out on a tub. Fill a tub of straw or poop or coir or w/e up they might not be that small but the pinset is insane for such a little casing.

Yup.. There was just a few left over rye berries stuck in the spawn jars after doing my bulk.. Didnt wanna waste em so I prepped some grass seed.. Im sure glad I did.. I'm getting quite a few mushies from these jars..

After the 3rd flush break up the rye grass seed and spawn to small bulk tubs and youll get a couple more flushes. Nice grow so far nunya.

Ive been having bad luck with bulks so far but I'll think about that Mushhut.. Second flush dried up.. 11 grams from the four jars.. Altogether 20 grams from them..

These HAW jars were getting pins all over the sides so I dumped them out into cakes and put em in a basket inside of a tub.. These are pics of the 5th flush off these.. The two pics are about a week apart.. The cakes are fruiting at different times.. Both pics are different cakes flushing at different times.. Total wheight off these is around 2 ounces so far.. Very good for cakes.. Also, these things are very good.. Flattened a few people now and a couple had trouble speaking for a few hours.. Totally blitzed.. I love the hawaiians..

Nice looking 5th flush. It looks like the fruits are getting mush larger as the number of flushes go up. So far 2oz off the cakes. Good work bro!

bet the shortness had more to do
with water content than anything else.
