Nothing special.Just a couple of little tester trays for me to see how well the strain grows. So far I've noticed it to be a fast colonizer and fast fruiter. When I first got the spores I looked for a grow to see what I should expect but couldn't find one(may be due to not searching well) and decided that I should post for an example of the strain. PF cake<straw/hpoo 50/50 Spawned - 5/20 Fruiting conditions introduced - 5/25 First pin - 6/01 Full FAE - 6/04 |

I had the pleasure of working with this 'strain' a few years ago. I find your observations to be spot on. It was one of my favorite's... very fast colonizer and very fast fruiter. Fruits are big, even on cakes and it drops a lot of spores. Don't remember anything special about the potency, but was definitely a good one to work with.

From what I remember, the potency wasn't bad at all. I do remember being very giggly.... I liked the sheer size of the fruits and their speed. Def a fun one to work with.... I found they did really well with bulk substrates.

When I worked with this a few years ago, there was some confusion as to what exactly the 'blue meanie' strain was. There is a non-cubie species of magic mushroom that is commonly referred to as "Blue Meanie".. I believe it is a Gulf Coast species of mushroom. As for the cubie variety, I think I got mine from Ralphsters or Sporeworks back in the day. It was pretty new at that point, in 2003 I believe. But whatever it's origins are, it is a great one to play with. Didn't see many clusters, but from what I recall it grew big, tall, fat, singular towers of some straight up mushroom goodness.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Argghh the dreaded purple haze!!Really I just let them go so that I can get a bunch of prints.Moderate to heavy spore depositor and decent sized fruits with deep bluing. These suckers were deeply rooted though.Tore the substrate all to hell picking them.I think eats said that his compressed subs were much more resistant to this so that is what I'll do next time. Not a bad strain at all.Very happy with this one and looking forward to future trials with it.Thanks Hillbilly ![]() BTW sub shrank from 2" to 1"!! |

Beautiful grow! Congrats! BM was the first I had the opportunity to grow and I got nothing of the sorts.
