I kept the tub when it contaminated to see how the green monster grows when left alone.
Molds have always fascinated me, when I was a little kid I used to make jars of leftovers and newspaper and stuff and watch the mold grow.

I'm going to decontaminate the tub with a strong NaOH (Lye) solution.
Bleach is good at killing stains and some spores, NaOH kills everything it touches.

High % warm Lye will eat through flesh even. Gotta love that stuff

I wouldnt save that tub. Throw it out. Tubs cost what..... a couple bucks? Not worth the effort, nor the risk in my opinion.
