![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Nice PESA flush!
Hey all, I'm pretty proud of this one. It's the best pinset I've had yet. They're little, but I don't care one bit! They'll be harvested in the morning, and I'm thinking 'bout eating some freshies and throwing a little spice on top, which would be a first for me too! PESA multispore > lc > 7 quarts popcorn > straw, coir, verm, and of course mycrotopia donkey doo! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() edit: Happy devil's night! w00t! |

thanks very much everyone. ![]() ![]() ![]() eatyu: The tub is a kind of standard rubbermaid... about 2' x 1' and the sub is 3-4" deep. mydarling: high praise coming from you, I remember yours and it was crazy! thefreak: PESA has always treated me well, I highly recommend it! mystic: I'm still behind in my printing skill, it's something I need to learn to contribute to the group, but I'll want to pick it up quick for this one. thanks. <3edit: Big time thanks for the 5 stars. Couldn't have done it without all of you. |

nice pinset! PESA is a giver for sure. looks like the rubbermaid 18 gal roughneck to me. foaf uses the some of the same tubs and that particular tub is very deep and yields like a champ. the tub is almost a foot taller than the 64 qt sterilite. condensation falls to the sides pretty well in this specific tub. do you wipe off the lid or do you poke holes in it so condensation doesn't fall on the sub? peace

Oh, I wanted to mention that I spawned and mixed the substrate, and then I covered it over with another thin layer of substrate. I'm starting to think this helps the pinset a lot. It's almost like casing, which I didn't do. This wasn't my idea of course, I don't remember who I heard it from. May have been fahtster. |

beautiful simply beautiful man printing is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo easy though i just buy a brand new box of baggies everytime (ziptop) have a cup full of alcohol to dip knife for cutting stem cut them throw them in the ziplock (all in a fogged out glovebox) and come back 24 hours re fog the gb and remove the caps and with this method i have had 100% success

POTM nomination for this damn fine work of yours! --> http://forums.mycotopia.net/contests...tml#post790584 BTW - is this first flush? i bet you the second flush will have much larger fruits. PESA likes to do that.

weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee: that makes a lot of sense. Shoulda thought of that. I'll give it a shot on the second flush. I'd really like to start contributing prints. mydarling: thanks a lot for the nomination! This is first flush... the substrate's pretty torn up, but I still see primordia... here's hoping. I might try injecting some water in a day or two. |

I still have a couple of boxes of chocolates from my previous grows but views like that make me feel guilty that I'm not having fun with just growing beautiful mushrooms .Nice!

Very nice sidestreet! Is there any way you could show me a pic of your lid/light source to that tub of yours? Please and thank you. I just started some subs in a tub identical and am tossing around ideas for lighting in the lids...

Leftover Salmon: Here's the setup: http://forums.mycotopia.net/photo-ga...utomation.html (Treasure Coast cakes + 1st automation) Now I turn the light on in the morning and off at night manually. The fan runs about 12 hours a day, but that time is split into many small pieces by the timer. I also fan manually about once a day. BMad: Thanks, and keep working on it, things will improve! |
