twitching and shrooms

how many of you twitch or have muscle jerks while tripping or on any other drug or maybe completely sober.on another forum there are some ppl linking jerks /twitching just to neurological problems and saying just because your tripping you shouldnt be twitching.i disagree with this view because i've seen many people jerking and twitching while tripping.what do you guys have to say?

i twitch sometimes sober,and it seems like i twitch more after i get high than while im tripping now that i think about it, and if someone tells me its kundalini im gonna vomit.

What do you guys mean twitching? Like you have involuntary muscle spasms? I can't say I have ever experienced that tripping, but I have with opiate withdrawal.. Perhaps some of you should have that checked by a doctor, as I don't think that's normal.. I never saw anyone twitching from psychedelics, except one guy who had once spilled an ounce of PCP on him (now twitches or has kind of weird ticks, when he eats psychedelics).. Of course he hasn't been totally the same since, especially on drugs..

I did a lot of PCP in the day - it hasn't made me twitch.

A warning to the young folks here:
PCP can kill you. A friend took a little too much, wandered off and got lost in the woods during winter.
They found his body after spring thaw, about 100 yds from houses and the road. He froze to death.

Try spilling an ounce in solvent on you and not washing it off right away while you try to drive all the way home.. He didn't realise it would absorb, and ended up in a mental hospital for over a month... Now when he eats acid, or anything similar, he has these nervous twitches..

Pissybee, It was a bad comparison on my part.

Loochypooch, No one realized he was missing for about a day and a half. It snowed about a foot in the interim. They looked for him for quite a while.

I think i know that twich, more of like a cringe twitch. Shit i get that twitch for about 5 seconds when i smell shrooms and every 10 min after i eat them till about an hour. When i reach my peak it stops. And this happens no matter what kind of shroom i eat.

Occasionally I get muscle jerks, more violent than a twitch I'd say-And can usually control (trigger/stop) them if I focus.

Wow, I can't believed I missed this thread... someone told me about twitching 3/4 into their trip just recently. Was so odd... I have never had this happen to me or even seen it.. I wasn't really sure what to think. Now I see this.. wow.. interesting.

When I smell shrooms I don't twitch but I do get a warm tingly feeling on my face near the front of my ears. Anyone else experience anything like this. Maybe I should start a thread on the effects of shroom sniffing?

I can kinda smell that tinglyness... I can really feel it soaking into my gums when I eat them.

The only time I've had any weird muscle twitching was many years back when I made the mistake of mixing alcohol and crystal meth with mushrooms. (1. Get drunk, 2. Snort crystal, 3. Hey! Let's eat some shrooms!) My face (mouth) contorted into a weird position for quite some time (kind of like a person grinding their teeth on coke). I guess that isn't really twitching at all, but it's still an involuntary muscle movement. Incidentally, that was the only time I have ever gotten violent on mushrooms. I smacked my friend upside the head for some no good reason. We weren't friends after that.

Moral of the story: Don't mix crystal meth, alcohol, and mushrooms. Hell, don't do crystal meth, period. And next time you get the urge to, turn the channel to Fox first and watch a couple episodes of COPS.

Oh, I almost forgot. Sometimes on high doses of acid I would get a very strange jaw chattering. My bottom jaw would just start chattering by itself very rapidly. If I focused on it, I could minimize the chattering, but never completely stop it. It would go away as I came down off the trip.

Anyone else ever hear of that? Is that an effect of the LSD, or cut, or just poor synthesis?

For me I never twitch at all... but then for the last 3 trips I played drums for over 4 hours solid.....*pity my neighbors*.

Tripping for me also relieves my back pain to where I actually don't feel the pain. But then when coming down do I hurt like hell....LOL

Take pain medication, maybe burn a bowl, and always eat/ drink all the vitamin C I can :+}~

At high doses, the twitching is related to heavy body load for me. I'm totally restless, writhing in the bed, and experiencing this heavy gut-wrenching spasm that sometimes makes me shout. If I really focus, I can make it stop for a while and concentrate on the CEVs. Looking for a strain that has the least body load and most visuals... still looking. A few hits of weed usually calms this down quite a bit, but not completely.
