Do you trip naked?

i was just wondering how people feel about nudity on this site. y'all seem so open minded and cool with everything else. personally, i love being naked, especially near water. skinny dipping is cool. ive spent alot of time at nude beaches and nude resorts around the world. my wife has gotten used to it and now likes it but she's not comfortable on beaches. always seems to be some wierdo in the bushes. but resorts and clubs are not like that.

its not a sexual deal. we are not swingers or anything. its more about freeing one's mind from all the baggage society programs us with regarding our bodies. its all about accepting yourself and others exactly how you are and being comfortable with that.

it is the mind freeing/expanding aspect to social nudity that relates the subject to this site for me. oh, that, and that it was the hippies that seemed to bring it back in style.

In the summer I usually end up naked or in wrapped in a sarong whilst trippin.

Clothes just don't do it for me sometimes.

exactly what im talkin about. there is a whole town in france called Cap d'Agde where clothing is optional (google it). on the street, cafe's, banks, hotels, beach etc. most people opt for no clothes. ask yourself: "could i go there and be comfortable?"

if the answer is no, why not? it is an interesting question to ponder.

• it is warm there so thats not an issue. if you are uncomfortable naked in the freezing cold, yeah, i get that.
• is it something like hip said: it depends on if you might see something you consider gross or unattractive? would you hold that same standard before walking into an art museum? what would your limit be? fat old hairy men bending over? what about a 60 year old woman who has had a partial mastectomy? would she make you sick to your stomach? would you recoil in horror? or maybe its all programmed to be inseperable from sex. social nudity is ok if its will a bunch of playboy playmates. i am assuming there is a sexual inference in that statement but not necessarily. in fact, i dont pretend to be able to get into anybody's head, especially hip's. just asking rhetorical questions here.
• is it because you consider nudity to be immoral or dirty or shameful? why would that be? do you consider nudity to be inseparable from sex?
• are you afraid you might be attacked by a horney nudist because you are so damb hot?
• afraid you might get a woody and everybody will notice?
• afraid you might be judged or criticzed in some way because of the way you look? is that because you judge and criticize others based on the same criteria? if you do, maybe you should take a look at that. if you don't, why do you assume that others would?
• who are you? are you your body, or do you have a body like you might have a car? who is asking the question? is it "you" or your body? if "you" are not your body, then are you your thoughts about your body? are you someone elses thoughts about your body. are you your thoughts about others thoughts about your body?

these kinds of questions are interesting to ponder for me. i have found it to be a more profound and powerful exercise to do so i the presence of others who are nude in a social setting. one can discover all kinds of things about one's self and one's beliefs in such a process. many of our automatic thought processes and reactions are very automatic and dont make any sense.

I can honestly say that being naked around people, and being naked around naked people, and being naked around naked...

yeye, no prob. Its so cold over here I can already feel the pangs to shed peel in the summer, maybe thats a playing factor.

Although some of those nudie resorts, especially in southern Europe, with the influx of lookthere's (see: tourist) stripping, merit some concern. Many do it for the novelty, and that my friends, gives me the the chills.

I can never get naked enough. I do all my tripping naked. My cooking naked my everything naked.

If I have company or have to go the grocery store I wear cloths.

I almost never have to do any laundry! Bcause I never wear clothing.

I love going to nudist resorts and beaches!

see ive never put much thought into it but hell yea i do. Especially when im by myself. I start out fully dressed and i wake up the next morning completely naked. but the winters are cold here and i can also remember a few times that i got home, layed down in my bed with pants and a sweatshirt ( and even shoes) on and just passed out
but it seems like pregressivly throught a warm trip my clothes come off. I am just like " this is uncomfortable"

Once or twice on a heavy dose I've ended up naked, either on my bedroom or bathroom floor. But I don't trip naked per se, just don't get down like that. It's pretty cold where I'm at right now, last night I had to bust out my warm socks (aka the big boys) while tripping. (2nd Grow - Cambodians & a few ?'s)

I used to go to BIOLA (Bible Institute of Los Angeles) University.

One time a bunch of friends and I went streaking throughtout the campus until security caught up with us.

Me and a few others got away some got caught. That was a blast!!!

Let's just say most folks in Holland don't have curtains on their front windows and it is not uncommon to see a naked girl getting dressed in the morning, or riding a bike with no panties and a short skirt, or just plain fukkin naked at the beach. No prudish shit over in Rotterdam or Amsterdam!

Only when tripping indoors, or while in a sauna or swimming pool (as opposed to a natural body of water, unless ALL I am doing is swimming, with no hiking- see below-) will I go nekkid. If I am outside (that is, out of the yard) I must wear clothing as a matter of protection- I tend to find myself way up a tree or scrambling over rocks and through bushes when tripping outside and I just don't like all the cuts and scrapes.

I did get my pecker snagged on a blackberry cane while running around in the woods once, hence the clothing since then. That, and my instant mosquito-slapping reflex backfired horribly once as well (again, on the pecker- smack!- OWWWWW!!! Idiot!).

I think its cool. I mean look at all the rapes and molestaion. we try to repress it all the time and some people feel the need to take it forcefully. but do you think if they grew up like in one of the few tribal bands left, where they pretty much are naked all the time that they would feel this way. I personnaly wouldnt mind living with one of these tribes you dont have to work like a drone you hunt pigs and make fire and you are as free as you will ever be. the only bad things I see about living this way are hygine and medicin. I would like to check all my baggage and live off the grid.

I've checked my bags and lived off the grid. Way off, like no indoor plumbing or electricity, kitchen was in a hut of lashed saplings covered with a tarp, that kind of thing. I'm back now.

What happens (to me and others I've spoken with) is that those who go off-grid solo or communally end up reinventing...the grid! Well, not the grid exactly, but the same organizational structure of which grids are a natural extension. We had to reinvent sanitation, too, because digging a hole every time got old after 6 months of unusually rainy weather. (Like at "The Farm," an intentional community in Tennessee that is still in existence, which had cholera outbreaks in the early years of the community, thanks to everybody "doing their own thing" and rejecting the capitalist conspiracy of sewage treatment or something. They sort of re-invented western civilization from almost scratch while trying to do something else.)

Just don't plan on bringing a girlfriend/wife! I read an account of a guy that joined up with an Amazonian tribe like you describe, and his wife came with him. It was an ordeal for her that lasted a long time, since she had no way to get the hell back out for awhile. He slacked around all day, occasionally hunting and often drinkning something fermented or taking the local mind-alterants. His wife, being female, was doing a LOT of gathering and was never allowed to hang out with the men or partake of the festivities or rituals (like all women in the tribe). Every night the men would gather in one of the big huts and drink and laugh at loud farts. No kidding, much was said of their affinity for farting and their endless hilarity. The women were sleeping under the hut during these parties. They weren't even allowed inside while the men were gathering.
