I am lucky enough to know some real talented lampworkers. To those who don't though I would suggest online, head shops are WAY overpriced IMO.

Headshop for replacement bits, online for new/large/exotic, show lots for interesting glass ware (small and large).

My one and only pipe was grown in me garden , a Crookneck Gourd with
Bamboo mouthpiece..I do need to find a better screen for it though...

I have a variety of headshops within driving distance that happen to compete against eachother so usually you can get a good price if you shop around a bit. I'd much rather go to a shop with cash then have something shipped through the mail to my home.

strictly hemp or rice papers, 711, mini mart, asian mart, headshop.... glass on glass is nice but too much punch for daily use. jays and spliffs mon

Last time I bought a pipe, Ronald Reagan was President. Buy quality, and you don't need to replace it.

Screens- I get at the local head shop. I buy a couple dozen at at time, I don't need to buy new ones very often. (Brass, the steel ones get clogged too quickly.)

Papers- lots of places.

Not only do I get my pieces from a local blower, but he's a very good friend in a circle of friends that hold a big bad blowout every April 20th....you contribute $50 to the pot and go on an Easter Egg hunt, except it's glass pipes, not eggs that are hidden throughout the house.

When the contestants have all found a piece, it's off to the kitchen....where you find three tables full of food....all of it prepared with Mary Jane.

Godammit, I love my friends!

Not to much to choose from where I live. There is only one headshop even remotely close, and the other one gets watched by the police all the time so I wont go there. Every gas station, beer store, tobbaco shop all have papers (at almost $3 a pack). I would love to learn the art of glassblowing
