![]() | Mushies and healing emotional issues Hey all another question. I`m wonder now about mushrooms effects on helping with emotional problems like dealing with fears and possibly helping getting passed issues caused by problems at home and such I`m really going into this with a positive attitude and I want to be prepared and use this this new experience as a way to help going forward in life and having a better attitude and be more positive. LoL I hope I`m not expecting too much out of this. |

![]() | For me it helped me play out the emotional truamas and issues during the tripping part. However, they come back but I have already traveled that road much further than before so they are fainter. It is not a cure, but rather a glimpse at the path that needs to be walked. It is up to us to walk the path when we come back to reality. It also seems to "purge" the unwanted stuff out of me.

![]() | i think mushrooms are a wonderful tool for me to get past emotional problems. they allow me to step inside my brain and see the problem from a perspective that i cannot achieve being sober. it allows me to take a step back, loose the emotional feelings (anxiety, anger, fear) and look at the problem for what it is. thus being able to come up with a few different solutions. i call mushrooms my wisdom drug. it has allowed me to come to accept some things that have happened in my past that i dont think i could of otherwise. it has also given me a different perspective on the world. example: i was wondering why there always had to bad things happening to me and why i was supposed to go through them. i realized that there must be the bad to achieve the good. the ying-n-yang. it has also helped me accept things i didnt like about myself and showed me ways to change it. therefor making me a better person and taking a step towards who i want to be as a person. ![]() | I've never gone into a trip with the expectation of working out any problems or reaffirming myself as an emotionally stable person but it sometimes happens anyway. I've also never deliberately tripped while suffering emotional strain or stress but sometimes the trip has brought issues to my attention that I was not even aware of or had long forgotten. It is a double edged sword to be sure, so maybe it's best not to use it for cutting purposes? |

![]() ![]() | I've eaten huge doses while in the midst of horrific emotional problems and they helped a lot. I think that in times of great distress, low or medium level doses might be bad but unambiguously large doses are good, at least IN MY EXPERIENCE (I should stress that part). I ate 8 dry grams of lab-grown cubensis while wanting nothing more than to swallow a round from a .357 magnum (which I'd held in my hand the day before with my finger only 1/32 of an inch away from merciful oblivion); the trip was pure visionary bliss and I busted out of that mental rut permanently. That was my very first drug experience, too. I think the overwhelming dosage simply obliterated my ego enough to make the bad thoughts irrelevant. Lesser doses might not have done that. So, it's not an exaggeration for me to say that because of magic mushrooms I am alive today. Now I try to help other people grow them so that they can reap the same benefits I did. If someone else I never met hadn't learned how to become a good grower back in the mid-80's I probably would have thrown my life away. My way of saying thanks is to help get these powerful tools into people's hands before they do something as stupid as what I almost did.

![]() | kiddo, thats a great attitude to have about it... be positive... if your in that frame of mind, you could possibly stay in it. what i like to do, is trip.. maybe moderately hard, and try to remember what conclusions you come to about things that make you happy or sad... try your hardest to remember these feelings, because you can try to apply them to your sober life and improve things there... before i really got into mushrooms, (as in not just for fun..for help too) i realized that drinking could be a problem... it was a problem for my relationship, at a point and so after a couple confirmed tripps i have almost completely stop drinking... i think a person's true character can come out on mushrooms, in the right circumstances... for me, my real thoughts ring true when tripping... good luck

![]() ![]() | As I have said time and time before as everyone knows I deal with Bipolar (Manic Depressive) a very emotional rollercoaster everyday I live. Mushies are a way of freeing myself personally from everyday stresses and anxieties. Not to mention gives me a awesome perspective on how life is gonna be and how to deal with it. So, in response to your question kiddo shrooms do a world of good and help with emotions and struggles. Btw great thread.
