Amazing how much of the minority I am in here... I went through college with sort of trying pot once or twice but otherwize nothing, and got into my second job of my carreer before I was pulled to try mushrooms in my 30s. My sisters tried to get me to do lib cap tea when i was but a gradeschooler, but I didnt. They don't know that I have tea all the time now! LOL. Oh what a long strange trip its been.

i was 17 and this girl that lived next door gave me a huge glass of grape koolaid field shroom tea...that stuff was nasty but the results were very good.
I was 10 ways of fucked up on some THC when i drank it ....it wasnt real THC but some kind of really powerfull snorting powder
To this day i still dont exactually know what we were snorting but if you snorted a small coke type of line you were gonna be messed up for 3 days
Some people would only do that stuff once because it made you think you were really dying....I loved that shit a lot

15 years old, 1/2 ounce split three ways. I have NEVER laughed so hard in my life (and it shre as hell isn't for a lack of trying). I still remember laying under my friends pool table where the manufacturer had placed a sticker proclaiming the greatness of the "Solid Slate" composition. For some reason that struck me as funny ("Why would they put that down here where noone will ever see it? I've got to get the word out.... This could be big... SOLID slate? ... ... ... ) It was about that point the laughing started and it seemed to continue for years and years, I never did get the message out...... To this day, almost 15 years later when i see those two friends that night invaribly comes up and i just smile with my "little secret" all to myself.

i was a freshman in high school, which was around 7 or 8 years ago so i'm going to say 1998 - our school exploded with the mushroom craze, it was nuts, you heard all these stories every day about crazy trips - me and two of my friends bought 2 1/8s for 50 bucks which was a pretty solid deal, we ate them in the woods and didnt know much about them and thought we ate shitake because for an hour we felt nothing, then all of a sudden it kicked in and we went on a magical journey through our town. my friend thought there was a guy in his head telling him to bring us to a pizza place, so we walked all they way across town and when we got there we were too bugged out to go in. i enjoyed my first trip so much that i ordered spores from PF and tried to grow them but they all contamed, (i think i still have the syringes with some spore solution left somewhere) i never stopped researching though and i grew my first successful batch this summer with the help of all you fine individuals.

this is a dream i had a long time ago. pure fiction. of course.
weird story, so, it all started for me
when i was 15. i was on erowid, and
i went to the shrooms section for fun.
i stumbled upon the MMGG document,
and i was like, 'wow, holy shit. i could
do that.' and like a crazyman, i set out
to cultivate psilocybe cubensis. i was
obsessed with reading guides, looking
at pictures, reading experiences, and
trying to figure out how to get what
i needed. i ended up resorting to ebay
[wanting to get 'Matias Romero' Amazonian
variety of spores, thinking they were the key
to success]. so i win a syringe, and i email
the dude and ask for his address to mail him
a money order. as it turned out, the address
was like 10-15 mins by car from my house.
not the coolest thing to do, but whatever.
i was an impatient kid. my friend and i immediately
drive to his house and ring his doorbell. we wait
around for a few minutes, and we kind of see this
dude peeking at us from behind window curtains
at the side of the house.... he just stared at us,
motionless... we were like wtf. eventually, he
leaves the window and comes to the door and
asks us if we're the dominos pizza guys.
we tell him no, and explain ourselves. he asked
us if were police [we were like 15-16 lol] and stuff
like that, and then he was [understandably] pissed
off because we just showed up like that. anyways,
long story short, we got our syringe and even bought
some fresh shrooms [and he gave me a pint of colonized
wbs out of generosity].
anyways, i set out to grow and had fun doing it. but before that,
it was time to see what the fungus was all about.
i ate about 5 medium sized mushrooms [about a dry 8th]
and yeah, that was some crazy shit.
shadows danced on my wall, cracks formed on the ceiling
and spread out, my pupils were huge, i danced with myself
in my mirror on the wall, etc. one of my favorite trips.

yeah, so for a good while after that, i was totally obsessed
with growing. towards the end of the dream [where i find myself now],
i don't think about it all the freakin time, but every once in awhile
i find myself in such a mood. its a touch and go hobby for me.

I was 21 (2003). I had looked for mushrooms for a few years and couldn't find any. I had tried my hand at growing once, but the guide i bought at newsland was a little to advanced for your clueless beginner. Big agar failure.

Another year or so later I found an eigth at a party. I bought it, but it was all he had and I was trying to split with a friend. I didn't get enough by the time we cut it in half and I barely got anything that night.

Within a month I had my first successful grow midway threw and had the time of my life with the fruits of my labor.

First Time I tried mushrooms I was 18 and a senior in H.S. '95. It was the first drug I ever tried. Lol, thought my friend was bullshitting me..."You can get fucked up from eating mushrooms? Noooooo." I was a total strait edge with the exception of alcohol.

This was soon followed by LSD, then pot, then hash, then opium, then ecstasy, then coccaine (yuck), and then cigarettes (double yuck).

hehe I guess mushrooms are a gateway drug...that and milk. lol.

After doing all of those, I liked mushrooms the best, and started cultivating the summer of my senior year.
