I still keep some in the pantry for when I feel like something hot and don't want to cook. It's a convenient base for asian dishes as well. | |

We dont have any atm but I actually like them. Id pay a buck for a pkg if that was what they cost. I like totinos pizza too. If I were a millionaire Id still have both on occasion.

I used to eat Ramen about 4 days a week, now I don't eat it anymore. Don't know why, just a change of pace I guess. I used to cook it up all sorts of different ways and ramen recipe adventures are a blast when

the first time i ever tripped on shrooms I ate ramen noodles while I was coming up. After a little while of trying to eat them with a fork and being totally incapable, I just started using my fingers (there was no broth) very fun time, they looked like they were pulsing.

I've been perfecting the art of ramen for 15 years. 1) Add some vegetables. That way you'll feel better about the MSG and 400% USRDA of sodium intake in that bowl. 2) Boil for 3 minutes exactly. How much water varies, depending on how soupy you want the ramen, but the time never changes. 3 minutes. 3) I suggest adding a slice of processed american cheese food after the 3 minutes. Kraft singles are the best for this. Any cheese that melts nicely will do. Just don't add something like cheddar or Parmesan, because you'll have a mess. 4) Add something hot to the boiling water: salsa, cayenne pepper (diced), etc. 5) Add additional spices, such as garlic powder, cumin, curry powder, etc. That way you won't grow tired of the flavor packet, or even need the flavor packet anymore. Crazy, I know. |

It's all about the Benjamins. Depends on what there is to eat usually, but I love it late at night with some toast if I'm not trying to overload.

I grew up poor, on welfare, and in a trailer court with a truck driving father... We always had Ramen Noodles, and ate those bitches religiously. As an adult, I just can't stomach em...

Love them noodles......LOL I was taught there is a wrong way to prepare the noodles.. Always add broth packet after noodles are cooked.....LOL Why I don't know but the picky teenager would not eat them if I placed the broth packet in during cooking the noodles..... SO being the kind father I am.... told her to cook her own :+}~ RestartLater |

I agree with Weeeeeee. Get the good noodles from the Asian market. I used to have a GF who could make awesome noodle salad from ordinary, cheap ramen. I wish I paid more attention to how she did it. A bit of sesame oil is all I remember.

I've had my fair share of em, just not so much anymore. Most recently, a friend of mine, an asian, turned me on to eating them raw and uncooked out of the package. As discusting as this sounds they were actually bearable this way making them an excelent in a pinch food source.
