Poppy ingestion methods

FOAF got some large poppies

He made tea out of 4 of them. Ground them, put them in boiling water with 1000mg of vitamin c steeped for 40 minutes (like making regular tea), strained and cooled in freezer. He chugged it and was stoned for about 8 hours.

He soaked 4 Ground poppies in everclear and strained them through cloth and got small pile of goo once the alocohol evaped off. Smoking it was plesant, Eating it was even better for him but strangly not as good as the tea.

Eating one single large pod ground up and mixed with yogurt then downed with the help of a soda. This proved to be by far the most potent method.To quote FOAF

While it makes sense that ingesting the entire payload will indeed deliver more to your body, you shouldn't overlook the fact that different pods are likely to have different payloads in the first place.

SWIM has never eaten dried pods in yogurt.

He finds that the tea tastes pleasant when mixed with green tea or similar. He has, however, noticed that after brewing a batch or two of tea the soft mushy pod material can be eaten for added effect.

Its gross to down it, but being soft already I imagine it would go down easer than dried pod material.

Use the rest of the green tea as a chaser.

after i run my pod thru my grinder
it's powder, once mixed well with the yogurt
you can see it but not taste it.

IMO the yogurt is the fastest, most effective method of ingestion, seems that the added fiber helps things on the way out of the system as well, LMAO. Also, waste not want not.

Remember to be careful how often you dose as poppy pods have been known to cause chemical dependency. Also, I would not try them if I had no prior experience with opiates as allegic reactions can be messy and dangerous. To all the kiddies out there, these pods are only a few steps away from pure Heroin, so be aware of what yur fuckin with, please handle with respect. FOAF try's to put at least seven days between doses, sometimes this requires xtra will power with a box of fat pods just sititn there......lol

How I wish one pod would do the trick for me. One pod seems the equivelant of a single hydrocodone 5 to me.

That's my experience, too, at least with tea. I'll be trying yogurt this weekend.

Anybody else tried poppy/mushy tea? I like it. Soooo mellow.

This is the first I have heard of eating the pod whole. Tell me, are these pods dried when they were ready to harvest in the conventional sense (cut and bleed as I call it)? Or have they fully matured?

the poppies are dried after maturity and never cut or milked of thier juice. FWIU the pods are simply grown then cut & dried. There are no score marks on the pods that I have ever seen. Before FOAF eats them ,he grinds up the dry pod to dust then mixs it with the yogurt.

So what do you grind with Hip?

I have a 14 speed Kenmore blender and a Black and Decker coffee grinder. The grinder is best for pods, but its still not fine enough so that they're "flour-like".

I imagine that is how you mix the with yogurt. Am i right?

I just don't think i could do tha chunks...

i've done a lot of research with the pods and have found that when powdered and eaten they are about 3X stronger than if you did a water extraction (tea). also, when eaten the high lasts longer than if tea is made. i would say this is because the goodies leach out of the powder slowly giving a time release effect.
to repeat myself (again) pods vary tremendously in the volume of powder they yield when ground and this is not a good way to measure dose. measuring by tbls (volume) or even weight is a much more accurate (and safer) way to dose.
please be careful everyone, so far i've seen no media reports of people getting in trouble with pods. it won't take but a few idiots fucking up and they will be made illegal.

i'm gonna have to try them with yogurt, sounds yummy. what i have been doing is putting a Measured amount in about 8 oz. of water and stirring like crazy then just slamming the liquid.

i use my KitchenAid coffee grinder
not exactly 'flour' but manageable

Found a marked down hamiton beach custom grind at wallyworld. it was 7 dollars and some change. it makes absolute flour out of pods, but the catch is you have to fill it up pretty full. it wont do it for just one pod very fine, but 2 or 3 together it will make dust.

20 -25g (3-5 pods) seems like a hydrocodone 10 to me

based on the fact that morphine is a naturally occuring alkaloid (from a plant like caffeine in tea leaves or coffee beans)---- we can see that water is an effective way of extracting the morphine, just like we extract the caffeine from tea leaves...... (and take nothing away from hips yogurt tek, that is a great method)----- but recently i have been toying with the idea of extracting the alkaloids just like we would extract caffeine in the lab --- for the case of pods....i have considered boiling them with a base such as sodium carbonate for around 30 minutes, at which point we would filter out the pod-matter, place liquid in a test tube (or centrifuge tube--- not so likely at home) and add some (4-5) portions (size dependent on amount of pod matter/water used) of an organic solvent such as methylene chloride.......each of these portions will be added singularly, mixed or centrifuged....then the lower phase would be removed, and then portion #2 of the solvent would be added, mixed....and then the lower phase removed until all 4 portions are completed ---- the lower phases of liquid that will have been removed would be placed into the same flask or container -----then sent through a pipet or similar drying tube constructed of: glass wool in the neck and some sodium sulfate on top the glass wool (to dry out the extract)............the "dried" extract would then be gently heated in a sand bath or similar to evap. the methylene chloride out leaving us morphine crystals ---- but then we would have to purify these relatively pure morphine crystals with ethanol (prob 95%) to remove the excess methylene chloride (which we dont want to ingest) completely ---- (however this is a somewhat more complex mechanism) ---- but the end result should give us pure morphine crystals ----

Maybe i can do this one day soon, and take a log of it --- but these peeps are so nosey in the labs --- that id prob. have to do it at home......or lock any of the mfers out (which could be done )
