Watch out for ebay pods - many have been ripped off there, especially at prices that low. $6.00 won't even cover shipping. At 10 cents a pod it would be a deal too good to be true, which means it just may be, buyer beware.... sol |

Yea, they advertise saying that the pods are 3 to 6" in diameter and you get a few that size and the rest are maybe 1". Then when you complain they offer you more on your next order. Like I'm gonna order from them again!

The Transplants suck. I usually buy from The Flower Depot but they're out of stock right now. Usually with nice size pods I can do 3 to 5 pods for a good pain relief with a buzz. I have a high tolerance also.

User ID: thetransplants Stores: THE POPPY POD DEPOT Anyway,I placed 2 bids on an item called simply "30 Dried Poppy Pods Large" (it didnt include the word Papaver like the 60 dried poppy pods Papaver) THEY ARE PAPAVER SOMNIFERUM,RIGHT? Also 3-5 pods pain relief with a buzz! 30 pods for $12-$15 plus $5.50 shipping = 6 to 10 doses/"highs" for just $20! How do you not consider that a killer deal? SERIOUSLY THOUGH...Are you reasonably sure that the "30 dried poppy pods large" are P. somniferum? Why again did you recomend NOT buying from these guys? PLEASE RESPOND! I don't think anyone suggested drinking a poppy seed tea. You're supposed to grow the poppies and then harvest opium or use the pods for tea.

i personally don't think that telling us that you won a bid on ebay is not a good idea considering you listed the product, the quantity, the store, and the time (recorded by mycotopia.) It would take the law 10 minutes to get a good idea who you are. Careful! Safety First!

It sounds like a great deal - ebay pods always do, and that's the problem. I've never heard of anyone getting a good deal on ebay for pods, despite the writeup... What they advertise and what you'll actually get (if anything) is not always the same, and since these pods are "just for floral arranging," if you're not satisfied with the results, you have absolutely NO recourse. Again, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Ebay has tightened control on the online purchase of any kind of high, legal or otherwise, so what's left may very well be someone you wouldn't want holding your address, CC info, etc. All the same, you sound pretty hot on this purchase. Post pics and let us see what you got, when you get the chance. sol |

Lol @ hidra - good to see you around ![]() Some poppy seeds are covered in an opiate residue, moreso the ones sold in bulk. Unfortunately the only way to tell is to do what homey did and drink up... Either way, it's a lot of work for a buzz - not worth it unless you work at a bakery with a supplier who does not process their seeds whatsoever. Also, opium content on seeds varies depending on the manner and time of harvest, so it's still a crapshoot. Pods are the best, and therefore worst, way to go - Awful shit to come off of. I still have a few sacks in storage for a rainy, armageddonish day, but that's where they'll stay. I'd rather just get shitfaced on anything else and suffer the hangover, not the wicked addiction, sweats, cramps, depression, constipation, and other lovely side-effects of "pod therapy," lol . .. sol |

"Are you familliar w/ a company called thetransplants/The Poppy Pod Depot? Are their dried poppy pods somniferum?" Not familiar with their work, seems to me they're riding on the name of The Flower Depot, an old favorite supplier back in the day. Pods are a bad way to go, IMO. Not easy to get like they used to be, and there's a reason why you don't find many veterans still lurking around, at least not many that are still making pod tea. Many either get a grip on reality, wean off the pod, and suffer with addiction issues (me on a bad day) or move on to bigger and not-so-better things, heroin, pharms, etc. Like I said, a bad way to go. Visit the addiction / recovery forums at poppies.org if you want to see your future with pod tea, or go on and eat them shrooms, discover why you think you need that shit anyway, and move on to better things. The bottom line is that anything that makes you feel that good for no reason whatsoever must be bad for you, and it is, as centuries of poppy use / abuse has taught us. soliver |
