    I think it's just that sometimes a joke especially if it's directed at someone, is hard sometimes to tell that it's a joke. You can't hear a tone of a voice on the net and sometimes people may not take a joke as a joke, but as an insult. Jokes can also tend to drag things off-topic.

    You make a good point but I don't think that was the issue here. Hip just doesn't want 1000 different joke threads floating around which is understandable.
