Penalty for importing Pot Seeds

Anyone with any experience in importing pot seeds from seed banks in the Netherlands? I am thinking of importing about 20 but want to know the penalty I face if they are seized. I believe it may just be a stern letter from customs but I want to make sure. From what I hear though most shipments make it through easily.

i got a buddy whos done it all they do is open the box if they suspect something if they see the seeds then they take em and put a letter in it that says customs took ur shit if u'd like to dispute it call 1800blowus

thats not the real number but you get the point.

but not to mention he's got plenty of seeds and still orders em and this has only happened 1 time to him.

I used to be into growing and I heard plenty of people complain that customs stole there seeds but I never heard of any legal stuff coming of it. If your sender wraps discretely then 49 times out of 50 theres no prob anyways, and the most I've ever seen is a confiscation letter.

I've ordered several times from cannabis culture magazine, I dunno if they still do it but they sold seeds from several different banks in canada and dutch banks as well, the guy doing it is sorta like an agent or broker acting as a middle man, it was a sucsess every time, packeged in a small plastic slip, wrapped in a catologue in a standard buisness sized envelope. I've heard through the grapevine that if the feds take your shit, at the most you'll be informed, not arrested or hasseled. Some of my seeds had a poor germination rate(only one time) but the guy hooked me up with a bunch more, when I wrote him to let him know about the poor seeds. Everything I recieved was dank, I'd advise going for it.

The one problem is it can be VERY difficult to choose.

Canada is less of a "hot-spot" than the Netherlands, you can get Dutch from the Canadian supplier.

I was talking to a postal worker here in WA, who told me that the mail coming in through Canada gets sorted through with a fine tooth comb, netherlands as well. But mail from the UK they arent too worried about. So based on that I would have to advise a UK based seed company.

FWIW, my order that was confiscated came from UK...so did the one that wasn't confiscated.
