It's 2:00am....Stuck at work since 8am, yesterday...Dam dot matrix printers sound like a hive of prehistoric bees...On 11. I feel like getting on my soapbox and mindlessly ranting. I'm not endorsing any one, read the rules.

Seems every election year is the same...Economy tanks, more smoke blown up more asses, more snow than you can find in *insert celebrity here* nose...the bitching and complaining...My hijacked TV...that started last November. Notice how the world fades into obscurity in the media...Cherry picking to the Nth degree...Mean while, the world starts in with the ever so faint drum roll as the hush slowly builds and the snare gets louder. Meanwhile, you're bombarded with "Hey, stupid people...I know whats best for you. Even though I can't make a decision unless the wind is blowing in one direction or the other. And I'm totally contradicting my self. Vote for me!"...The lame candidates that we don't get to choose...until after they choose them selves ($$$)...."You have crap, shit, dick, ass, and *C yoU iN Tahit.* to choose from. Aren't they great! Lets give them a hand." ....Gee, thanks. I'm sure we'll be able to make this country great with more duct tape and bubblegum. To analogize, if our presidential candidates were artists...They'd have the capacity to finger-paint and maybe some macaroni art or glitter-n-glue. I want a Giger! I want a Valejo! WTF! Why can't we have a Peter Griffin for President? So what if he makes mistakes...and is a cartoon character...at least he's honest...and honest about when he's not being honest...and thats ok.

Politicians almost seem to not even be human. I mean after all the nasty crap they say about each other...they still shake hands and smile at each other? I mean nasty personal attacks against non-involved family members. I think thats worth at least a good punch in the face...right? Or a heart felt F* YOU! on live TV. Once, just once I would like to see these automatons exhibit a shred of human like behavior...Under ONE condition....that they don't apologize for it. Thats a big problem. These ninnies take it to the edge of the envelope...once they go a tiny step beyond...and when most people go "HELL YEAH!" or "THAT SOB!" (depending on your side)...They back down! "Er, um...I was out of line. I really didn't mean what I said and I'm sorry...I'm really really sorry."....So now the "hell yeahs" are saying "pussy" and the "that SOB's" are saying..."pussy" What does that leave us with? A wishy-washy-namby-pamby-limp wristed-wet noodle-sissy alice...pussy...But at least he's *politically correct* (vomit). Feel free to insert "she" where the "he's" are as this is not a post to discriminate against the other sex.

I think this year I might write in my Canary for President...I live on the west coast and it's long since decided before our polls even close. Some times I don't even want to vote...But NOTHING will ever keep me from the polls, rain, snow, car-bombs...Well, ok maybe the bird flu or zombies. But you get the point. Too many good people died over the past couple centuries for me to be able to partake in the privilege...So I guess I'll take out my frustration by stabbing the hell out of the ballot with that pointy thing. Really making sure that I exert way more force than necessary to punch out that paper. Then I'll shove it in the box with authority and a smirk....Knowing full well that my Canary has no chance of being President...Heck he's not even old enough...But I'll know that my "just going through the motions" vote has a little F-U sprinkled on it. It's not like any one cares or I made a big difference...But it's OK...in the end...when the next lying sack of shit takes the throne "read my lips, I did not have sexual relations with WMDs"...I'll be able to say..."At least I didn't waste my vote on him"...her (dear God in heaven no).
