'Privacy tunnel' and other anon services

Hey guys, what's up? Seems people are lately talking about anonymous surfing and other issues for the 'EVIL' lifestyle.

Well, I am just sick of all the crap you get with a 24/7 open cable connection (and the paranoia does keep me up at night looking through tons of misc. information. Check out www.privacy.li

I have been reading some information for a time, but don't quite follow most of it. I don't even really get pgp keys (though one should pick it up in a day). Anyhow, might find it useful, and possibly explain to me some of what the site speaks of.

Maybe if I eat more shit my head will quite down!

Well, there's plenty to read at http://www.pgp.com/library/index.html which should give you some idea of what PGP is about.

Free copies of PGP can be obtained from these sites if you want to play with it:

There's a pretty good tutorial in the FAQs at OG: http://www.overgrow.com/growfaq/1551
It's based on a slightly older version, but it all seems to work the same.

Personally, I've never bothered with e-mail or PM encryption (except to play with it)

I've just downloaded it to take a look, as it's a few years since I last installed it.
