Pre-Employment drug testing -- When?

Hi, I've got a shit tech job with Best Buy's Geek Squad lined up. They want me to come in to their local office to "get the background/drug test started." The only other employer I've had that drug tests is home depot. After the second interview I was told to stop by their doctor's office and take the test there.

What I'm concerned about is coming in to the local office and getting a UA sprung on me right then and there. I'm going to be dirty for certain and want to use a friend's clean piss. I'm thinking I should get a 2fl oz vial and have a friend piss in it the day of the test. Then, drive to the testing site with the vial inside some coffee or something to raise the temperature. I doubt I will be watched.

Anyone have personal experience smuggling in clean piss? Were you tested at their office or told to go to a doctor's office? What did you use to keep the sample warm?

The only drug tests that I have had I was watched every time. I may be weird, but I get stage fright or something when someone guy is staring at me trying to take a piss. Took me forever. Keeping it very close to your body should keep the temperature close to your body temp. The only tests I have had were not for a job though.

I passed UAs at a methadone clinic by pouring the clean urine into a condom, tying it off, then sticking it into my tighty-whities. Have a thumbtack or safety pin with you to prick it. Warm it beforehand under the sink to no more than 100 degrees. It will cool off a little in your shorts, but should still stay within temperature range. If necessary, reheat the condom at the doctor's office.

I've never had an observed urinalysis for job screening.

Do they usually say, "You have 24 hours to stop by _______ and submit a urine sample?" I'm wondering if I should bring clean piss with me since they want me to stop by their office to get the background check/drug test started. I'm hoping it is just an interview and maybe a simple aptitude test, but if they're real bastards they might spring a urine test on me there.

If it turns out that they spring it on you, you could already have a back up plan of having a friend bring it down to you where you are once a cell phone call is made. Not everyone can piss on command and sometimes it may take a little while to have to take a leak.

I figure I'll go in at 4pm or something like that. Spill the piss or delay it some how. Most people want to go home and be a wheel in a different machine, not nail some guy with a piss test.

i doubt best buy would watch u take a piss. not a po test. but my friend that works at one here "not geek squad part" said he went to a drs office for his. sent him there right after they finished the final interview.

i dont know how acurate this is but my pa said you can throw salt in your urine to test negative for herb, he said when he did it he had a bag of pot in one pocket and a bag of salt in the other...but acidentaly threw in some pot, doh!

another thing you can do is drink a shit ton of water to dilute the results, then they will test you again when the results come back, diluted, and hopefully then you wil be clean

oh yeah, im talking about herb, dont know about anything else, they cant test for shrooms, thank god

Pretty sure they can test for shrooms, but they just don't do it routinely.

Table salt : It only takes 2 tablespoons of table salt to mix with urine and mask the metabolites causing a negative test result. However, pH level, which is often tested, is not in a normal human range which will cause suspicion of test tampering. The white substance also leaves tiny white particle residue in the bottom of the test cup, making it identifiable. Theres always the option for "False Positives",
Plenty of lists available showing all the possible causes, but the one that usualy get's me by is good ole' Advil.

Doc's will normaly ask the usual "Are you currently taking any medications?", Just say, "Yea, this job market and economy have me so stressed out I've been getting alot of headaches, sooo I've been taking 6 or so Advil a day."

I've even had some instances where it seemed as if the Employer just used the mention of a drug test to see if he would get a knee-jerk reaction of some sort from you. I always take the Alfred E. Numan approach of "What, Me worry?", often I'll just say to the interviewer, "Well it's your $60 to waste" and they never end up sending me (I would not expect this treatment from Best Buy however)

But yea for a pre-employment check, just tell your Doc you've been using one of the "False Positive" triggers in a fair quantity for a few weeks. As long as you're not Lake Erie dirty they just might let it slide, or at least schedual a retest in a week or two, giving you time to sweat it out, hydrate the snot out of yourself and get clean (at least for the test)

My sister had a government lab job for a while, tested twice over the course of it. She gave me the panel printout, and while they tested for quite a lot of different things, hallucinogens were not on there.

i had to take uas for the state and tried sneeking piss in with a hand warmer next to it and it wasn't warm enough. but if they dont have a tempature gauge your solid. my suggestion is dont use a couple days before your test, drink a shit load of cranberry juice in those days. then the day of just drink the normal amount of liquids as you would on a regular day and buy one of those detox drinks and you should be good, worked for me.

Ive done the same thing, but after having being searched one time, and them
taking my toe nail clippers I had to break the condom open and piss went
everywhere except the cup. So I found that one of those little sprinkle
shakers you know like the christmas sprinkles, anyways one of those filled is
the perfect amount that they ask for. Its a lot easier to just undo the cap
and pour it in the cup.

for employment.. they put u in a restroom.. put some blue dye in toilet.. thats it.... its not probation n parole ... u can do it if u slick


to keep warm.. i kept on hot dash.. then... pill bottle of course.. make sure its clean for i seen some fall for dum shit like not washing it out... under nuts will suffice... hell.. i did under arm once.... but thats more risky.... good luck!!!

If your taking piss in a 2oz glue bottle under your balls in tighty whites should work. The glue bottle works in case they come in the bathroom it at least it sounds like your pissing. Some friends of mine did this a lot on parole.

i had a buddy do that and got piss all over him plus it sound like his water broke....lol
