Very nice! Combined with the info I've seen at websites dedicated to helping musicians soundproof city apartments so they can practice without bothering the neighbors, you can... do all sorts of things.

If possible, a very 'busy' house interior that has lots of corners, doors, odd angles, numerous hallways, and stuff like that is ideal for hidden spaces since it makes unaccounted-for voids harder to intuitively sense and much more of a pain in the ass to find with a tape measure.

It's also a lot of fun to be able to design the space or passageway right into an addition or new house (trickier if you're deviating from an approved plan and the inspector notices) rather than adding it as a renovation (plus it can be made seamless). I've had a client or two request that I build them a cozy little invisible space on renovation jobs I've worked on in the past after alluding to how perfectly a secret room could fit "...right in there, if I built it before I put up the drywall" or whatever.

The only catch about having a secret room built for you is that there are a couple of other people out there who know about it besides you. So, if you hire contractors, be sure to knock them unconscious and brick them up into a masonry wall when they finish (be sure to seal it very well). Actually, on second thought don't entomb the contractors into your secret room; take some carpentry classes and DIY.
