    Unhappy my favorite cop died

"There once was a deputy called Fife,
Who carried a gun and a knife.
    The gun was all dusty,
And his knife was all rusty,
Because he never caught a crook in his life."
    R.I.P.

Yeah, that was one hell of a show and one hell of an actor. I still watch it from time to time. Even the hoakie episodes are still applicable to everyday life.

He always had that nervous twitchy druggy thing to him. He woulda fit right in right here. <hits and passes to the left>

I remember him in MANY a Disney flick. Apple Dumplin Gang. Flubber. Herbie does Dallas. The classics.

    My favorite father died too

Darren McGavin. He had a very long acting career, but was perhaps best known as the father, or the "Old Man" in A Christmas Story.
Let's have a moment of silence, followed by your favorite bit of "profanity" from A Christmas Story. Hostigal Fifer? Mundane Noodle? Notafinga!? I can't pick just one!
I'm told they go in three's. So who's next?
