out here that sell them..how is that possible if there illegal? $75$

Hmmmmm...... are you sure about Florida? The only states I know of where spores are illegal are California, Georgia and Idaho. Has something changed?

I thought that FL was ok, too. If it wasn't, they grow there year 'round anyway. Lucky bastids. And from my understanding, Hawaii is also illegal for the transportation of ANYTHING mushroomy, to include spores for even culinary mush, unless you get written approval from state government.

Self-Correction: Only live mycelium (of any mushroom sp) is illegal to have imported to HA w/o approval. I suppose that would be included in most states in terms of psilocybe. It loudly speaks "intent to grow".

In fact:

Psilocybin Mushroom spores are legal to sell and possess in every state except California, Georgia, and Idaho. Posession of fully grown magic mushrooms is illegal in every state in the United States except Florida. Florida stands out because of a decision in 1978 in Fiske v Florida by the Florida Supreme Court which ruled that wild-picked magic mushrooms could not be legally considered "containers" of psilocybin and thus would have to be specifically listed in Florida law by the legislature if they meant to make them illegal. Since the Florida legislature has not chosen to change the laws since then, wild Psilocybin mushrooms are presumptively legal to possess in Florida.
