please help obtaining pure safrole

Hi there, hypothetically i need 160g of safrole. I am not very familiar with ways of extracting safrole from certain products, or which products to use. I live in southern california and i believe sarfole, and sassafras oil are illegal. I am asking where i may get a product that safrole can be easiestly extracted from in large amounts, and exactly how to do that extraction (not very smart, please dont use really advanced chemistry words, haha)
Any help would be hugely appreciated.

statement below is a hypothetical answer to his hypothetical question:

north american sassafras roots contain a large amount of safrole

even though historically it's quite popular as an essential oil and i've heard that people used to chew on root bark of sassafras back in the day for a relaxing effect - things aren't like they used to be. it's dangerous precursor to work with nowadays from a big brother standpoint. purchasing anything safrole or sassafras related could be a bad move IMO. i'm not saying don't do it, but wanted to reiterate the danger involved so you make an educated decision.

hypothetically 160g is a lot more than just a safrole experience and sounds more like it's part of a recipe involving advanced chemistry terms, i would be hesitant on this one buddy - but best of luck to you.

What makes you believe safrole is "legal in California"?? What you're talking about is a bad, bad, BAD idea

Actually he pretty clearly stated in the post you quoted that "I live in southern california and i believe sarfole, and sassafras oil are illegal."

Also, since when is any MD* compound considered an RC?

That being said, twistedfate911 this isn't really the most appropriate board for this topic. Try looking for one regarding organic chemistry and the likes; there's more people there with the knowledge your looking for.

Also, with self proclaimed comments like "(not very smart, please dont use really advanced chemistry words, haha)" your more than likely to have a retched time trying to turn that safole into anything decent. Not trying to bruise your ego or anything, just trying to give you a wakeup call.
