or you could try this

1 teaspoon of nutritional yeast,
1 tablespoon bee pollen,
1 tablespoon flax seed
1 tablespoon shredded coconut meat/flour
1 tablespoon blue corn meal
1 tablespoon coarse yellow corn meal
1 tablespoon of powdered/ground kelp meal
1 tablespoon of cottonseed meal

I get a 6 cup ratio of each ingredient except the Nutritional Yeast . one bag of blue corn meal or yellow corn meal is 6 cups.

so for 6 cups of all ingredients you add 5.22 tablespoons of nutritional yeast.

1. i mix it up all in a big bowl.
2. then put it in zip lock bags in the freezer.
3. then spoon out 1/4 cup of this formula and mix it in per each tub i spawn . usually 2 turkey tins volume of substrate . not sure what that equates to by quart.

its easy if you pasteurize with water. then just add the ingredients at spawn time. mix it in well with your substrate . if you use turkey tins to pasteurize . then just add it to your substrate that you mixed prior to pasteurization.

16 tablespoons = 1 cup
3 teaspoons = 1 tablespoon

don't believe the lies of the fastblast. those guys spam boards across the omc making claims that this stuff is the universal mushroom additive. they spam other boards and try to rip off newbs. might want to stear clear of anyone who does that.

Formula! works great! check around here...same exact thing, used it for years! Great stuff.... I will not work without it......

A ton of micro nutrients will help everything grow.

I have found that to only be usable with cakes. I have found micro nutrient rich cakes to be notably more useful.

With bulk substrates, I have found that lots of micro nutrients tend to contribute to faster contamination.
