| yes, saleen modifies (improves) cars..but there is no modifying a bugatti, how would saleen make the parts? lets take a quote from the page you speceficed: "Saleen, Inc., a specialty vehicle manufacturer for 17 years, has created the first true American supercar with the launch of the Saleen S7." Another Thing, Saleen modifys car's that can be inproved (like a FORD), a bugatti s7 saleen doesnt make sense, thats like a ferrari enzo saleen. Ferrari makes top of the line car's everytime, porsche on the other hand makes affordable cars that are commonly used, therefore RUF makes the serious porsches. BMW has the "M" motorsport division, BENZ has "AMG" and these companies are divions of BMW/BENZ. then there are aftermarket parts companies, Like a DINAN BMW M3. lets check bugattai's website: http://www.bugatti-cars.de/ nope, no model s7 mentioned.... i see a E 112, E 118, E 218, Chiron, Veyron, no s7. next time go to a BMW dealership and look at all the mercedes-benz they have their with a BMW paper plate, benz must be a modified BMW then... show me one place that proves this car is a bugatti s7 saleen and ill send you $5. | quote: "but how a seperate company can copy the entire vehicule..... Saleen is a customisation company" saleen doesnt copy the entire vehicle, they modify it, new parts on the engine, new exhaust, lower suspension, differnt body panels, but they dont copy the car, thats nonsense... please..will someone set this person straight? | 2) AOL Madness (Warn Your Friends) (From "Langa List" free email newsletter at www.langa.com 2004-04-19 #2) AOL is at it again. This time, it's reading *inside* its members' emails, and preemptively blocking any messages that contain links to sites that AOL doesn't want you to see. Note: I'm *not* talking about simple mail blocks, where a mail is discarded if it originates from a "forbidden" address. No: AOL is parsing the content of its members' emails and blocking them even if they merely *mention* a site that AOL disapproves of. This happened to my last newsletter issue, when I mentioned a perfectly valid and inoffensive link: http://www.codeproject.com/ . It turns out that last summer, in July, AOL put that site on its naughty list for some unexplained reason, and ever since has blocked all emails that even contain a link to that address. When my list-host ( http://dundee.net ) noticed huge numbers of AOL emails bouncing back, they preemptively sought to find out why, and the folks at AOL then removed the block--- on that one address. AOL's mail system is just this side of insane. Not only does it read inside member emails for links that AOL doesn't like, but--- as we've reported before--- if AOL members get a little lazy and block a newsletter like this one, instead of unsubscribing, AOL keeps track of the blocks. Last time I looked, if as few as 10 readers took the lazy way out of stopping a mailing, AOL would assume that the mail in question was spam. In my case, if just 10 AOL users out of 160,000 readers--- that's 0.00006 of my readers--- took the lazy way off the list, all AOL subscribers would have their legitimate issues blocked for some time thereafter. AOL's user-level mail filters are nearly useless because the master filters discard emails before they ever make it to the users' mailboxes and the local filters there. That means AOL members can white-list senders to their heart's content but it will have no effect at all on the pre-filtering that's done by AOL before their mail ever gets delivered. AOL's user-level mail controls are a little like those fake thermostats you sometimes see in office buildings that are meant to give occupants the illusion of local control, when in reality, a central system is making all the real decisions. Noted tech writer Brian Livingston also has been struggling with this, as he reported in http://briansbuzz.com/w/040408/ . Just look at the jaw-dropping failure rates he found: I've written many times that Internet service providers (ISPs) are mishandling the growing menace of spam by imposing crude "junk-mail filters" that delete legitimate messages without notifying the intended recipients of that fact. ...AOL "bounced" about 88% of the newsletters that had been sent to subscribers who use aol.com e-mail addresses. The problem was also severe at subsidiaries owned by AOL, including cs.com (which bounced 88%) and netscape.net (96%). ...[AOL's] filter simply deletes huge quantities of mail without ever delivering it... (click link above for full article) If you have friends on AOL, you may wish to tell them about this ( http://www.langa.com/sendit.htm ) so they'll know why their email is so unreliable. Of course, there's no guarantee they'll see your email, just as there's no guarantee that legitimate subscribers to this newsletter on AOL will get this issue.... But there's a glimmer of hope: For the first time ever, AOL's membership has started to shrink significantly. Users are finally realizing they can get better service at lower costs from other ISPs. Perhaps if enough members vote with their dollars, AOL will wake up and meaningfully change its Big Brother-ish ways. |

| <blockquote><hr size=0><!-quote-!><font size=1>quote:</font> Yeah I've already done everything i need to do to it.... <!-/quote-!><hr size=0></blockquote> I was basing my comment on your posted pic. Must be an older pic cause you still have the stock suspension in those. Well, since it's already done go for it!!! Let me know how much difference it makes, and if you have any technical questions let me know!!!

| here is something writein by a good friend of mine....swear the boys a genius.. theres probally nothing i can say that would singly effect each and everyone of you but hear me out. You can go your whole life searching for who you really are, why is this? because you've built up this persona of who you should be and not who you are, alot of this is due to the pressures of society, which labels the rich and wealthy as the High man on top, the thing that we all work for in life am i wrong? But excuze me if im wrong here, Nobody acts the same in front of everybody, theres a different show for everyone you know. this indicates that you are a weak person at will because you try to please everyone else by telling them what they want to hear rather then what you feel. You can go your whole life trying to find out who you really are but the mask's and distractions that arise in day to day life allow you to hide under that blanket of shames. | True...but better safe than sorry. I'm running Zone Alarm Pro 4 with Auto Temp File/Cache Cleaner, Norton '04, Spybot-search and destroy, Evidence Eliminator. Running Windows 2000 Pro, with the Windows Messenger service disabled (lots of pop-ups get to you that way. Wanna know how? Let me know.), frequently defragged and re-formatted every 4-6 months. |

| Hippie... I must confess. I too have just "wandered" through the Massive info this site has to offer. Without logging on...Does that make me a Bad Man??? As the "Administrator" you have a great responsibility for this site... I have seen many pages of "talk"... Very few interest me, except for the Tech stuff... my Question is..Does it help to have members log on , instead of just browsing????? |

| I had AOL for about three years. The only thing it had going for it was everytime I called to cancel they'd give me a free month. I paid 5 month a year on average. Finally, I realized that it still wasn't worth it and got a cable modem, which I couldn't be happier with. |

| No 'fancy' frills here... Just want to say "Hi" and ask for some help... First off, I grew shrooom 30 yrs ago, and I just started again... This new fandangled idea of Syringes and rice cakes and all had me going for a while... However, I have sucessfuly secured 4 strains on agar and, well a multitude of substrates... I may be "old", or mabey exprienced, but this new PF casing is not working.... All I used before was just potting soil..No oyster shell or lime... I cannot get the myce to grow into the soil... What may I be doing wrong... I have been through "casing 101"... I am just an "old" man wanting to learn new tricks??? |

| Wow, 30 years ago, welcome back! I think I speak for everyone here when I say you'd be a more than welcome addition to our family. I'd also love to hear about your growing methods and experiences from the old days. As far as the new methods you will read about, they are almost all derivatives of the PF tek or the PF tek. PF or Fanaticus was a man who revolutionized small home growing operations about 13 or 14 years ago. He had some troubles about a year ago and has keep a low profile ever since. Check out the archieves to learn more. Also, see the basic PF tek using cakes for the best way of getting back into your hobby. If you are refering to the larger "casings" than that might be a bit advanced a point to start. Good luck, don't be a stranger. By the way, don't worry about waiting up for responses to your posts. This isn't like a chat room where reponses come relatively right away. Here you just make your post or start a thread and check it when you get the chance. Usually it will be hours or a day before you should expect a response. And, unlike the chat rooms, the threads go on for days or weeks or longer here. |

| Mr Brown,,, I thank you for your response... I just finished a game of chess with Bruno in Italy and looked back here... I have done the pf tec and know of his history... that sucked in my books... but nevertheless I cannot get the mycelium to grow in the soil...YET.. I have gotten a crop, but not the way I used to... They only grow on the sides of the substrate, and therefore I have to "birth" the grains as u say...totally different than when I did it, but, that was before computers were even here!!!!! With this info............. |

| OK, Lets make one thing clear...I checked the sites you showed me...Yadeyadeya... is all I can say...Been There, Done That... Must be "Operator Malfuction" on my part.......I am growing on whole rye grain, Cooked brown rice and even those fancy brf cakes inoculated with syringe... I still keep my strains alive by transfering from PDY to MEA...Hell, I have had them fruit on the agar, even...I have Treasure Coast(not to good), South American(Small but efficient}, B+(tricky and slow, best on millet which is a bitch to keep from clumping} and PF Classic,(another slow one but FAT}...But no sucess with the casing soil......... I am just missing something...Don't know what yet............t |

| <blockquote><hr size=0><!-quote-!><font size=1>quote:</font> But no sucess with the casing soil......... I am just missing something...Don't know what yet...<!-/quote-!><hr size=0></blockquote> so what are you using, vermiculite ? you say they only grow at the sides which is a sure sign there's a casing malfunction but more details are needed, like how you case, with what. how you mist, etc. for general casing info, incl. several recipes, see http://www.mycotopia.net/discus/messages/5/1397.ht ml?1010199538 and http://www.mycotopia.net/discus/messages/5/2567.ht ml?1079885195 |

| Where are you getting your spores from, T? And what temperature are you keeping your stuff at? Of course, it could be a million other things too but those are some common problems. As far as poppies in Alaska, I'm not sure how they'd do but I wouldn't get your hopes up. What part of Alaska do you live in? How long is your growing season for annuals? They would need at least 3 frost free months. Do you do any other gardening there? |
