Happy Happy easter everyone! Voila a few pics of my easter down here in the land of craziness they call peru. Part of their ceremoney here is to set off fireworks on big wooden towers and then push around big tower things with Jesus and Mary on them. Once again, happy easter to all.

Last summer I lost my best friend of 3 years to a dreadful place called college. She has plans to get a degree in biology, I have plans to get a degree with which to acquire a 9-5 job. She has plans to make quite a bit of money, life the high life (Upper middle class) and to travel a bit. I have plans to have a shelter, food and enough income to enjoy life. Our views are very similar, except I value people more than I value money. For that reason Im hoping to not be a work-a-holic for the rest of my life (like my father). How many of you have fallen in love, gotten married and then settled for the working life? I have had very few close friends in life, maybe 2-3 of them and now theyre all gone (Dad was in the military), off on their own adventures, doing their own thing. Hopefully I'll meet someone within the next year or two that has the same views. Relocating to tennessee pretty soon, we'll see how that goes. This is me, signing out

    the very word
    easter
is a corruption of the name
    Astarte or Ishtar
    the Goddess of Old Days.
i imagine that goddess you refer to
    is just a local variation
    on a much older theme.
    fertility, rabbits, eggs
    the symbols all agree,
it's a spring ritual meant to ensure
fertility/fecundity in the houses, fields and stables.

Right on susan, Check out the copy of the Affidavit for Search Warrant on the smokinggun link. It's absurd! Detective Reyes is really living up to the code of "Protect and Serve". Idiot. I love the part where he describes Mary J as "Devils Weed" and "Smoke". It's also funny when he describes his formal training and the 80 hour DEA class he attended. The guy has been working Vice for a year and claims to be a narcotics expert. I can't help but laugh my ass off at this guy. But then I realize there has to be some jerk off like this in my area too. Damnit I'm running for Sheriff!

Det. Reyes probably doesn't see anything wrong with terrorizing an innocent family in his fanatical search for weeds. The family should understand that for the good of the masses, on occasion individuals must make sacrifices for law and order. I hope that family hires a lawyer and doesn't just let it pass. What would have happened if some elderly person suffered a stroke and died from this Nazi like behavior. And you can't just blame the detective(he seemed inexperienced and overzealous)but the judge is to blame too for not insisting on a FLIR confirmation before issuing a warrant. Any way you cut it though weeds should be legal and we shouldn't be wasting time and money enforcing unjust laws when there are so many other things the police need to be doing.

Yeah look at the time money and energy that was devoted to this raid. And thats a good point about the judge. I can't believe in Cally of all places this would pass. Isn't the west coast the most progressive and liberal area in this country? It wouldn't have stood in San Diego or Washington. The feds would had to have made a move in those places.

I gotta say I would have loved to have seen the neighbors faces when the storm troopers showed up. LOL. It seems so Gestapo-Like to me it's sickening. Cannabis prohibition is such garbage, it didn't work for alcohol and it's not working for pot. More people are arrested for Marijuana charges than all other violent crimes (assualt, murder, rape etc.) COMBINED!

WAKE UP AMERICA AND STOP PROSECUTING NON-VIOLENT POT SMOKERS!

Mix that corn with a quart of pasteurized compost. Then let it grow out before casing, and you can double the yield.

Like someone else said, in some places it's more valuable than gold. I know which I would rather be stuck on a desert isle with. 20 bucks for a 1/4 of dirt here, And i mean dirt. $30 and you got something you can smoke, but I'd rather save my lungs from now on for when I can find some real kind bud.

    Peace
