Salvia- "Didnt get thru?"- Help?

So dont know exactly how to describe all this but i'll do my best.

Bought some Salvia 10x, and I went first, my buddy watchin, hit once, and walls felt odd, but i could tell i wasnt there, so i basically yelled at him to put more in, did, i hit it, and felt just DUMB, hit me like a shot and felt like i was ABOUT to fall into a dream world but i didnt do enough to get there, and the world knew that so they didnt let me in, I was waiting above it, but couldnt drop down, SO WHAT DO I DO?!?!!? Just try again? Didnt hold it in long enough?

MY buddy on the other hand! Take a huge hit, and is GONE, TOld me later he felt like he was in a little bubble world, and I was the god (I was standing he was sitting) and he was in a world with little people on his shoulders, and his entire family were there, and then he stood up and he said he felt like everything wa being torn off the walls as he stood up, then he laughed a LOT more, and began to come out of it. Intense.

Seems like you simply didn't take a big enough hit. For some people they just need more to hit that spiritual realm, for others not as much (exp. ur friend). Try to take the biggest hit possible, and hold it in for AT LEAST 30 secs, very important. Also for Salvia the more consecutive hits you take, deeper and deeper you'll go down the hole. Wut are using a pipe, bong, blunt? Personally, I find the bong to be the most effective, it allows me to breathe in a hella amount of smoke. Hav fun. And smoke responsibly.

I think that if you don't break through the first time...you need to wait about 15 minutes or so before trying again. More hits after an initial failure just never seems to work out....IMO.

Some people are salvia "hard heads" and it takes either higher potency extracts or more consecutive hits to get them to that breakthrough state. So if taking more consecutive hits, held for around 30 seconds a piece doesn't do the trick, then I guess you'll have to try the 15x or 20x extracts. Also water pipes make it easier to hold the smoke in for that extended period of time. Don't take 15 minutes of downtime between attempts, because if you do you'll lose the momentum you have built up from the previous hits...That would be like waiting an hour between beers.

It's been my experience....with a water pipe that if you don't break through initially, you won't break through by continueing to smoke more and more at that time. I have to wait at least 15 minutes. We need more opinions on this.

Consecutive hits haven't done it for me. It just seems to perpetuate a longer mediocre buzz. IME, that first one or two need to be rippers. That's when you get to that place you're not sure you want to go again.

Definitely use a bong or water pipe, and use a lot of HEAT. Keep that flame right on the goodies.

i think it has alot to do with your head not your body

i think if u let go and accept it alot more easier and not want it bad but rather let it take you away youl get there

im not u tho so cant tell if thats ur problem, try it and maybe see
fall down the rabbit hole, dont try climb up it

Go with the 30 times. Use a standard pipe from a head shop or whatever. Fill it half way and torch the stuff. I mean kill it when you hit it. Then hold it. When I first tried it. The walls and carpet distorted a little. The third bowl I packed halfway and cashed it and actually went into a music video I was watching. I do it just like that every time now. Never fails.

i have a problem with this as well but only have 5 x. only thing that happens to me so far is i see like triple images of the room if im sitting in a room the room feels like it's trying to flip over but thats it. nothing else happens. I guess ill have to try the stronger stuff also.

Salvia's a bit tricky. Your body builds up a strong tolerance to it very quickly so you need to smoke fast with big hits and hold it in for as long as you can. If you smoke slowly you won't get very far.

If you check 'salvia' on YouTube there is a LOT of videos of people making idiots of themselves with it (and obviously having a very good time), but with each one you'll see they take only about 2-3 big hits and those around them are cheering them to keep holding it in. If you're smoking alone, just hold it in for as long as you possibly can. Then hold it 10 more seconds. Happy travels
