![]() ![]() | Psilocybe Weillii One shroomer said, "Eating the Psilocybe weilii mushroom has given me life changing experiences. Of all the shrooms i have encountered, the weilii mushroom is the end all be all of all psychoactive mushrooms. They're completely out of this world and EXTREMELY potent, they rank up there next to azures and cyans. That was a quote from a thread in the vaults. I was dubious until last night. I've never consumed such a small amount of material and recieved such a strong reaction. Last night I ate around 30g (wet) of this wonderful little fungus. It was particularly foul compared to cubensis having a strong metallic aftertaste which overrode my ability to taste anything else temporarily. I also consumed a nice marijuana brownie which is unusual for me. I try a little MJ about once a year or so if it happens along so my tolerance stays very low. The combination of the two led me to have the greatest experience that I have ever had. The euphoria was quite wonderful. The visuals were very strong and clean. I saw this wonderful rainbow colored pattern in the upper part of my vision for quite awhile yet when I would look up to study it I was unable. It is very difficult to describe in words how wonderful I felt. A sober friend took me out for a ride in the car. Going to department stores, video rentals, etc... was like experiencing life for the first time. We also rented a movie entitled, "Perfume The Story of a Murderer" with Dustin Hoffman. Absolutely fantastic! I strongly recommend this film....especially to those who enjoyed "Pan's Labyrinthe". Just thought I'd share. If Weillii is second in line to Azurescens and Ps. Cyanescens then I simply can't wait to try them since last night's experience was far better than any I've ever had before. |

![]() ![]() | I'm afraid I'm not skilled enough to take a clone. All of my attemts at cloning, thus far, have failed. I did, however, cultivate the "strain D" which was cultivated by Aaron. True to the report, this species is highly resistant to contamination and was relatively easy to cultivate compared to others. For example, my attempts @ cultivating Cubensis Puerto Rican never came to fruition but my efforts with Weillii were quite successful. I only had one failure with this species where I've had multiple failures or limited success with others. It appears to me that cultivation of this species just requires some patience and attention to the substrate. |

![]() ![]() | Thanks for the advice Thanks Counterculture, There truly is no place like home. I can totally relate to your experience. Amazing how such wonder and awe can move one to tears of joy. My life is truly changed after my last experience. Since this post began, I have delved into agar culture. I'll be trying the H202 idea on my next batch. My first attempts have been cloning grocery store mushrooms and I've had about 5% to 10% success. But with every failure comes a learning experience. The problem has been with the tissue transfer. All incubated controls are contam free. My only other concern is that the agar I made could be "bunk". Perhaps I cooked too long/ too hot and bound up the sugars? What clean mycelial cultures I have propagated are very slow to grow on the plates. |
