Animals and tripping.

Had a weird experience with my dog last week - after tripping for a few hours, my dog woke up and started acting really strange.

He wouldn't make eye contact with me at all, and was pacing around in front of me. I walked him as it was early doors and he would not do the toilet in front of me. It was as though he didn't trust me at all.

Thing is - I was having a really good trip. There was no weird/paranoid feelings, and about 2 weeks previous to this, he was really comfortable around me tripping - his tail was wagging, he was really receptive to my commands, and I felt as though our bond was even stronger than normal.

Anyone else had an experience like this before?

I've been f0rtunate, everytime I have tripped around my pets they are always loving--like they are feeding off the good vibe.

They know when you are tripping, animals feed off your high, maybe he was not in a good place to trip that day.

yeah, my dog loves me normally, and most of the time he acts very warm and friendly, but a few times i have experienced what you have described. could it be that they pick up on your abnormal behavior? or does it go deeper than that? do they feed off your energy? this past weekend i went to a rave where everyone was tripping, but i decided to stay sober (well, minus alcohol). i tell you, with my own basic inebriation, i felt too like i was feeding off everyones energy and began feeling really strange. similar to a very low dose of mush i would say. weird...

could have been the music or the hundreds of glow sticks and lights though, induced memories on my behalf perhaps? i dont know.

yep, Ive seen it more than once bro. Cats and dogs both.
Sometimes their ok, and sometimes they act so freekin weirded out ya dont know what to think.

I agree with nuxx, I too have been places with many ppl altered , and myself not, besides a lil herb maybe... and had feelings of being on something I wasnt.

Also, a long time ago I was at a woodstock reunion , and alot of us were eatin fungi, cid, ecstacy,.... and there was a girl there who didnt do drugs who was hangin out with us, and kept telling us how "soo very strange" she felt being around us, like she was on something but she knew she had taken nothing. lol

Animals stick to me way more often than usual, when I eat shrooms or acid.
Cats always look way more fluffy than they really are when you eat a good strong helping of shroomies!
