    Is he drinking some sort of peyote tea or something? Bought this film a couple weeks ago. Thought it was a variation of ayahuasca he drank.

    The youtube titles usually say Peyote Visions or something, but if you look closely at the sacred garden in the film, you will see cacti, caapi vine and some leaves... maybe a couple other things I don't recall.

    The journey he takes is definitely depicting a predominantly Ayahuasca-induced trip, that's easy to see. That's one heck of a brew though, if everything in that garden is in the mix!

    Any one interested in watching an Ayahuasca documentary made by the same director, Jan Kounen, should search for "Other Worlds" on google video. Maybe it's still on there.

    Yep. Renegade is Blueberry. The original book is called Blueberry. The French release I think was called Blueberry too. The U.S. release was named Renegade for some reason.
