Strange experience with Mugwort.

I recently purchased a new smoking piece and the shop owner threw in a sample packet of mugwort. I enjoy dreaming, have experimented with other dream herbs in the past such as C. zacatechichi, and looked forward to trying my surprise gift.

Around midnight I opened my package of mugwort and admired its sensuous smell and soft texture. I loaded my new piece with a small portion and puffed away, being careful as to not inhale too deeply off the bat. I liked the taste of the plant, and noticed an almost immediate high and something happening with colors behind my eyelids.

Only five or ten minutes later I decided to get ready for bed, but first loaded a fatter bowl-pack of the mugwort, this time mixing it with some fine sativa bud 1 to 1. I chiefed down inhaling deeply and holding for as long as possible in attempts to get a good high going. By the time I had smoked up most of the bowl I'd say I was tripping fairly hard. With my mind twisting through hyperspace I managed to get up and turn off the house lights before flopping back down in bed next to my sleeping wife. I laid on my stomach with hands near my head and let myself go. For what seemed to be just a few minutes I let myself sink into and groove with the electric pulses and vivid colors that I was experiencing. I really liked the high I was on and was surprised and awed by the mugwort and it's synergistic effect combined with the weed. In a flash I opened my eyes and looked toward my wife and beyond towards the bedroom door. Some thought had "awakened" me from my trip and upon opening my eyes and looking out I realized the hallway light was turned back on! It really startled me, enough so that I grabbed my wife and shook her to wake her up. I explained that somebody had turned the light back on and I needed her to go turn it off - I was afraid!

The next day we talked about the incident and my wife suggested that I may have turned the light on with my mind. I was wondering if anyone has had similar experiences or could comment on this phenomenon?

I slept extremely well after smoking that night and was able to sleep-in the next day. I look forward to experimenting with Mugwort in the future and will do my best to share some more experiences with ya'll. Please add yours if you have any!
