first acid trip... where??

i just recieved two hits a day ago.. im planning on taking one for my first time.
when i took 600 bad seeds of morning glory i was ready to go insane! it was a bad trip. i thought i was going insane or dying. the sounds and visions were crazy intence and loud!
but i stayed cool in my bed all night and dealt with it in silence.
i didnt yell running and panicing.
my parents were down the hall.. but they werent my concern.

but i feel really positive about the acid. im actually very happy and feeling well in and out about everything. i just want to take one hit.
i want to do it at night in my room.
you guys think i should go for it?
because i dont know where i can go for 8 hours in the daytime with out my parents tripping where im at.

Not a good idea in many ways...

Take your time,and wait till they are gone on vacation are something like that.

I think if you took it in your room with your parents down the hall, you would waste your trip being paranoid if your parents can hear you, see you, know what you're doing, come in,....etc. see what I mean. you should be in a place that is comforting and relaxing to fully enjoy the experiance.

Hey man , the first time I dropped LSD I was with a couple cool friends. I'd suggest the same, find a cool person to trip around........ get for a few hours afterwards, when you'll wanna rap with someone (maybe not).

Oh, and four and a half to five hours into it ....... BURN A FATTY. Then , sit back Again and just veiw.

Probably just to you... you'd be surprised what people don't know unless you let on. If you keep your cool and don't let yourself get carried away with paranoia, you can pass easily weather it's parents or cops...

But, I'd second (third, fourth?) the suggestion to find a better setting for your first time... find a good friend and give him the other hit. Perhaps he/she can host if they have a more suitable space. Or, as suggested just wait until you have the house to yourself for a day or so... you'll be glad you did when it comes time to let loose.

For storage: wrap the hits in aluminum foil and saran wrap and put into a book. They'll be fine for months if not years assuming they stay cool and dry.

Get out of the house, day or night, 8 hours is a long time when LSD is in you!!
but...
8 hours is an eterinty when you are bottled up in a room with parents down the hall!!

i always have a twinkle in my eye the next day, i've been called out on it several times.
also hard for me to really consentrate on anything the next day
wait untill you can find a good comfortible place to do it, preferably with a good friend
i always want to go outside, i couldn't imagine having the stay locked in my room
as they say there is a time and a place for everything,
tasting magic for the first time with the parents 2 doors down is neither the time nor the place.
acid will store for a few months just keep it away from heat, light and air and it should be fine

Spend the night at a friends house or something where there are no parents or anything. Also make sure your in a comfortable place with people you like and trust. Set and setting make all the difference with psychedelics.


LSD is one of my favorite substances have fun!


And LSD can be stored indefinitely if its stored in a cool, dry, DARK place. Heat and light make LSD decay rapidly.

you guys just saved my ass because i WOULD have done it here at my place while my parents are at home.
im gonna just go do it in some forest with some good positive friends in berkeley.

im gonna store the acid in aluminum foil and saran wrap. then put it in the little cabinet in my hard case guitar case and lock it up!

the uc campus us a cool place to trip on acid. tons of cool plants and trees and creeks. bring a friend and sit on a grassy knoll under a tree whilst coming up, that will be fun!

24 hours of free time is what you need IMO

a day where you can make you own decisions and have no responsibility.

you should have a place where you can easily go to and be alone if you want and feel safe, and you should have the freedom to wander about safely if the whim hits. Relax enjoy !

i remember tripping once and worrieng that everyone in school that saw me knew i was trippin, then next day, my teachers were like jeez you look better today, no one had the foggiest idea that i was trippin, they just thought i was having an off day hehehehee

but if you have a history of bad trips, well trip with a friend, when your panicking on acid, parents generally just magnify the situation, my friend thought she was gonna drown ha idk dont ask, and her mom poured a bucket of water over her head to snap her outta it

the big thing is that, you are gonna put your acitvities in check while you are at your parents house, because you are considering the possibility of waking them up or something,

that alone is gonna piss on your trip,

you need to be able to do whatever you wanna do

ya true they may not know what drug but its easy to tell when someone is on a drug...i remember my mom making comments about how goofy we were acting when we were tripping...she's like they must be drunk(long time ago)

When I was in my teens, I tripped by myself in my room. My mom came home early and popped her head in my room to chack on me. She found me laying in the dark laughing uncontrollably at nothing.

Next day she asked me what I was on. I told her nothing. She says to me, "I grew up in the 60's boy. I've seen more than you have read about. Now what were you on." I told her. She grounded me for a few weeks.

It was a real shocker to hear that from my mom!! Don't underestimate parents. They were 18 themselves before.

And Hip, you hit it on the head. They might not know what but they will know something.
