Kratom - Uplifting

Just recieved Thai red vein from KT's and had to try it out. Started with 3g swirled in water and downed.

1hr in I started feeling the energy.

2hr in I took another gram and am really enjoying myself.

Thought I was done with work for the day, but I'm motivated to get more done... I'm enjoying this quite a bit. Definetly going to cap them next time.

3hr took one more gram and am feeling the same nice buzz... not as energetic now..... but nice and relaxing.

Going to go roll up some homegrown and space out for a few hours.

Not a bad evening. I'll probably try a little stronger dose next time.... But I wanted a baseline.

The taste was pretty terrible.... Need to find a cap maker quick.

I redosed with some friends.

14g kratom in a tea (double extracted) Heavy lemon juice

8g cubies in the tea



Used some african red tea bags and some honey.

It was bitter, but enjoyable


We had a lot of fun.

I'm excited to play with kratom again in the coming months.

i'm on the quest for obtaining kratom, thought about ordering the resins, assuming it'd make a killer tea!

or can it be smoked like hashish?

dunno, i asked one member i think i remember them saying smoking wasn't the way to go, but to imbibe in a tea.

and yes, kratom can become addictive if you are a SUPER heavy user, otherwise, it can be used on a daily basis to interrupt and halt opiate addiction, as it acts on the same mu receptors in the brain as an agonist. Threshold doses give energy, heavier doses give opiate like effects, bursts of energy, nodding, euphoria, etc.. it is also analgesic at these doses so it does kill pain very well also at narcotic doses.

Tea is the shit ..
The cheapest method is a simple acidic extraction from coarsely powdered leaf..Flavour the filtered brew by mixing apple juice concentrate and serve cold..

Actually quite tasty with full spectrum effects...I make a gallon per month which contains 1/2lb leaf...Yeah - it's habit forming lol..

golly, what is the withdrawal symptoms like?

im interested in trying it too but i have read a lot of negative things bout how addictive it is and how the withdrawawl is the same as opiate withdrawal. i have an addictive perwsonality and easily become hooked on op's.

While not nearly as bad as opiate wd - it's significant, if used daily ...
General body aches,depressed feelings, mebbe RLS for a couple nights..

Tapering down from daily use, has the least impact but does require determination..

Using 2-3 times a week is proly the maximum frequency that will save you from physical wd's...

If u have a tendency to addictive behavior ,it could get out of hand...
On the plus side , it doesn't consume your every waking moment with thoughts about
your next fix, like hydro ect...Much more subtle imo...

I always wanted to ask you Golly; why do you prefer kratom over pods? Pods are cheaper, but you do get nasty wd if you over do it.

The difference for me is primarily the energizing effect which counterbalances the sedating effects..The Pods are just sedating and even debilitating ime..
Tolerance is very slow to build even with daily use..
A moderate 7 gram dose costs about $2.20 which is cheaper than Starbucks..heh
Also Kratom tea is legal and won't show up in drug testing..

I can go for months at a time using kratom on a daily basis (4gm.) w/o any apparent WD after I quit. I find the best way to consume is to buy the powdered and put it in 00 caps. I don't have an addictive personality, so this may not hold true for everyone.
In order to extract all the alkaloids from the leaf material, you're suppose to simmer for 20 mins, filter and simmer again. I find that to be a LOT of work.
I suspect a lot of people aren't getting everything out of their kratom with a simple infusion tea.
