Awesome, that's pretty spot on.

The only thing I have seen close is of a roller coaster. You buy your ticket, or produce your ticket, and once you get locked in, take your dose, there is no turning back. The harder you try to stop and get off, the worse it will be. Better to just sit back and enjoy the madness. When the ride comes to a stop, usually the first thing you say is something like, "Whoa, or Holy Shit that was crazy."
