Ette's Day Trip on Thai Lipa Yias!

My first grow which, took some time to think about from reading the experienced and excellent information from the Mycotopia community's posts, getting lost in all the teks in the vaults.(Studying)

With all these great selection of spore prints that I and my husband have collected. However, I decided on Thai Lipa Yias as the strain for my first grow because of the fast colonizing mycelium, contamn resistances, and beautiful fruits they produce.

We had to battle with Black pin mold and trich in which, was an unbelievable success, they totally recovered fast. (I couldn't believe it) But, I can't take all the credit for this grow because my husband (Irishlion) had a hand in the recovery. What would I do without him? If it wasn't for him and all the knowledge I have gained from this site and it's community, I wouldn't be able to share such a wonderful grow and trip with you all.

However, I woke up Friday morning had to sneak a peek at the cakes to see how my babies were doing.
Noticed that the veils from the TLY's caps had broken, ready to chomp down on. In referrence to the pictures on my grow log you can see the pictures of half of my first flush from the cakes and the dose I took. (My little hand full) hehehe sorry to seem like I'm rambling on but, I'm very impressed and proud of the success from these cakes. (Full of joy was about to burst)

To Begin, I started chomping down the fresh mushrooms which, didn't taste that bad as the dry mushrooms do. I think it was about 1:00 p.m. when I dosed them.

I was both nervous and anxious at the same time if that makes any sense. I believe mainly the nervousness was due to the fact
I had just popped a pain pill because of my back pain. I was worried how the opiate would affect the mushrooms as I went into my trip.

Of course anxious because I've been waiting a long time to experience my second trip on mushrooms. (Amazons was my first mushroom experience)

However, when the affects starting coming on there was the experience of feeling so unbelievably relaxed with an awesome body buzz.

Which, didn't come on too strong, actually I was very relaxed through most of my trip (Felt good). Then, I got up and went into the livingroom where there is a picture of a Unicorn with a dark background full of beautiful colors, as I was staring at it there were all kinds of a lovely rainbow with wonderful images appearing out of the blue. (I was in awe) The images I saw were were moving for an example, I could see clouds that weren't there before floating

Almost, like I could walk right into it. Very vivid and almost real. I think I got lost in the picture for about an hour or so. Then, after I looked away from the picture the walls and floors starting moving like they were breathing, floors look as I was floating underneath my feet now that was cool. I was totally getting into the trip when the color "Yellow" stuck out through most of trip which. Started bringing some anxiety on but,I remembered as Irishlion was my guide through my first trip told me if things get too intense and start bothering me to remember that it's just the psilocybin that is affecting me and that I can change the mind set. In which, I did just that. Just amazed how that worked.

However, I decided to stick in a good movie into trip on. I stuck in "Fast and The Furious Toyoko Drift" Very Excellent movie to trip on imho and ime. As, I began watching it, The racing action looked as though it someone was fastforwarding the video........ (WOW)! (AWESOME!) that was intense. Of course, I tripped through all of the movie, to describe the people in the movie. They looked like miniature people. A better desciption would be they looked like toy soldiers and I giggled and laughed at them.

Then, to go on it was getting really intense and my husband tripped me out a little bit with him waving his hand at me and doing some cool tricks. I was then seeing tracers which is hard to explain if you've never seen them before or experienced. I was in total awe. In conclusion, I hurled up the mushrooms atleast three times and the trip started fading and dying down atleast I thought at that point it was over. Boy! was I wrong when, I started feeling wore out I decided to lay down to catch some zzzzzzs that wasn't happening for me yet

I, Then, logged onto the computer to checkout some posts on the site but, my vision seemed a lil bit blurred and then the words on the page starting shaking. That was weird. I then, logged off the computer and went into the livingroom and tried laying down again but, had to hurl one last time. So, as I layed down on the couch the trip was over and I feel asleep but, woke up later feeling absolutely amazing. What an incredible experience!

Nice trip report. Sounds like you had a grand ole time.

Congratulations on your first grow and it's nice to hear it turned out pretty well. I would have never thought that you had only tried mush once before.

Awesome ette glad you had a good trip
except for all the getting sick.
Do you think maybe the mold had something to do with the sickness?

Great trip report 'ette! TLY is a nice strain, potent and visual. Sorry to hear about the purge but that happens to me a lot and I feel it is almost part of the experience, especially when I eat freshies. This old guy usually goes for a tea as his weak stomach just can't handle the mush...

Awesome trip report!TLY are definitely one of my favorites.Comes on real gentle and lots of energy.I've only tripped once on them but it was my favorite trip of all even though it may not been the strongest.I'm glad you were able to ward off the anxiety as sometimes I have a little trouble with that.I don't know how the hell you managed to watch a movie or mess on the comp cause I can't even stay in the house too long much less mess with electronics.Next time do me a favor and trip outside cause I guarantee you'll love it

Thanks dicey the getting sick wasn't really too bad though I know it was well worth the trip. Those shrooms were so blue inside they were almost dark as a navy blue. Potent lil suckers. No that didn't have anything to do with the mold because that was completely gone. You know if it was the mold I would still be ill right now and I feel more alive than ever after that trip.

P.S. freshie's and a weak stomach doesn't really mix that well as I have learned just like MrChen had said.

Thanks mydarling But, I wouldn't say I know all there is about growing because I'm still learning and had some great help from Irishlion. I guess what I'm saying is a little research goes a long long way.

I'm glad you were able to get those cakes to work!
We both were able to save some good myc from baddies.
I should be able to post a trip report on my own grow next weekend.

nice report ette, next time try a tea that may help with getting sick, but then again sometimes the body just wants purge doesn't matter what you do, your hubby should have tripped with you,

You said right there Yetti sometimes the body just wants to purge does what you do.
I've noticed with Irishlion's tea tek I don't purge but, with this being my second trip on Mushrooms both times I have purged.

Mainly I feel it coming on when the trip gets a little intense. As for hubby not tripping this time well, let's just say there really wasn't enough of a flush for him to feel it like I did.

He has to have close to 4 or 5 grams and I only had half the flush with a hand full dose maybe a gram or 2.

But, The second flush from these cakes after dunking are looking even more promising and it's his turn to try them out.

cool , that happens to me when my body says hang on you have taken to much and time to puke, happens to me on cid as well,
but lowish dose 3g to 3.5g in tea form is a hell of a lot easer on the stomach then just eating them i find.
I grow shit loads of shrooms but have never had them fresh I don't think i can do it,
Grow for a while and stock up , then you and hubby can trip together, I have to trip alone , my wife doesn't do psychedelics,

Nice report Shroomette!
As a suggestion, if you start to feel anxious again like that, Irishlions advice is on the money. I've also found a nice walk outside helps the anxiety fall away from you. This is especially true on nice breezy summer days. Watching the trees play in the wind and sun takes away all earthly concerns.
