First Trip Log

Last night I took 45.6g of fresh ones and ran through the food processor. Then combined with 1 1/2c apple/cranberry juice and 4500mg pharm grade ascorbic acid. Ingested at 11:40pm.
By 11:57, started feelin' funny in the gut.
12:03- Here we go! Began questioning things, like "When is now?". Then realized that now is all there really is. Yesterday and tomorrow don't exist, except as reference points.
Point to remember: Don't start timing the PC for an hour and take shrooms ten minutes later. It seemed to take forever to get to 12:30.
I remember that sounds and smells really interfered with absorbing words.
Had to give up words and think in ideas only(I realize this doesn't make sense).
Then began sensing "we" instead of "I". Don't know if it was the presense of my wife's thoughts, my feminine side, or what, but I was sharing my mind with something more than myself. Very strange sensation, but not at all uncomfortable.
Various thoughts flowed through, including the fact that we take too much for granted in life. Everyone should realize that they are "reborn each morning" when they awaken. Yesterday only bears on today to the degree that you let it. Don't be shackled to your memories.
Next realized that we are all capable of anything. "Nothing or nobody is the pilot of my ship but me" Strange to be taking responsibility for my actions while in this state.
Then the theme of "death and rebirth" came in. The thought that life goes on forever felt good. We just wear different skins as we go. By the time most peo[ple realize this, it's time to check out. Some never get it.
Someone has in thier signature here something like" A Buddhist walks up to a hotdog vendor and says 'Make me one with everything!'" I lmao for what seemed a long time. I had tears running down my face.
Thought: Life becomes just an expression of the joke it really is. We are constantly fooling ourselves by seeing things the way we we want them to be, instead of how they are. We modify everything we absorb through the filters of our minds. Life is so subjective.
(On a completely different note- This was the first time in my life that I was able to go #2 in the middle of a trip. That was a trip in itself.)
Once in a while, I pick up a feather when I'm out and around. I was looking at a bluejay feather on my desk when it came to me that a feather represents a journey.
I was able to fall asleep at 4am. after eating a handful of crackers and drinking a small glass of milk.
On a previous "adventure", I felt such a strong, dark presense and saw a face. It had triangular eyes and normal lips as the only part of the face I could see. Otherwise, it looked like the grim reaper, w/o the scythe. I now realize that this was just another aspect of myself trying to tell me something. I was just too freaked out to let the message through. Will have to revisit this concept next time.
I will definitely have to wait a few weeks before taking this ride again. Got to let everything integrate and stabilize first. Then I think I'll bump up to 60g wet, and see how the weather is up there.

Been reading some basic Buddhism lately. I think some of it was me trying to relate to, and make sense of this.
I'm slowly coming to realize that I prefer to trip alone. Less outside distractions. At least till I figure some more things out. Then we'll see.
Am really getting interest in Pans. Got to take this to the next level, so to speak.
Need more cube growing experience before Pans.
Along those lines, is there a consensus on which cubes give the best visuals? I think that's where I will go first.
