I have decided to self experiment with these two mushrooms this year. being as they both grow abundantly in the area, i feel that i will be able to conduct this experiment fairly. my results this far: Last nite i made a tea out of ps cyanofriscosa using ras asads tea method (thanks again ras). basically, i took 1 gram dry ps cyanofriscosa, chopped into very small pieces, and poured just done boiling water over them with a tea bag and sugar. steeped for about 10 minutes. mushroom particles strained out by teeth. results: Very fast come up, nervous/anxiety within 15 minutes. Very visual mushroom much like ps cyanescens, but i feel the open eye visuals were more intense/vivid. for example, while watchin the wall on Youtube, my laptop grew to what appeared to be 5' tall and filled my vision as the wall played. the trip peaked very quickly, call it one hour in, and lasted for maybe 30 minutes. it then receded in waves, gradually gettin more high but then a mild plateau that lasted untill i fell asleep around 5 hours later. no disturbances this morning. MY opinions thus far comparing ps cyanescens to ps cyanofriscosa: -ps cyanofriscosas are more visual with little (comparitively) brain trip -ps cyanescens are more balanced visual/mental -cyanofriscosas trips last shorter time but are more intense (by weight) Please add your own experiences comparing the two species. Please comment on wet/dry, how many grams and if you have tried both and what method u use to ingest. Thank you!

Special thank you's to Alan Rockefeller and MJshroomer for making this all possible. Without your help, i would never have been able to find these beautiful mushrooms.

For example, sometimes you'll have a trip where you're manifesting lots of neat tracers, color changes, fractals, patterns, latticing, geometric shapes, and the other aspects of visual hallucinations while still retaining a level-head as you would when you were sober. Other times, you'll find yourself completely out of your head, ego-loss (I hate the term ego-death), paranoia, confusion, disorientation, emotion/mood swings, time dilation, abstract ideas/thoughts, and many more mental effects, with or without any visual aspects. And then you'll have trips which encompass a variety of combinations of the two, and many more like physical, spiritual, etc., including the feeling of a complete balance in the intensity of each of the effects. At least the mental/visual aspects in Greenie's case. Don't let me speak for you Greenie ol' chap. Great thread.

I agree with what you've said about the Friscosa's. We've done several tests with both Cyans and Friscosa's. One fresh from each on its own. One dried of each on its own. Two fresh at the same time and two dried of each. Also we've eaten combinations which has so far convinced us that the two mixed bring a very well rounded trip. I'm hearing lots of comments about the visual nature of the Friscosa's and the powerfulness of the Cyans. Have you tried the combo of the two yet ? We're thinking Azure/Friscosa/Cyans might be the best mix yet.

well, there WAS one baby cyan in the mix... so technically yes. I have also eaten fresh cyans, 2 big caps and 1 small. i found that fresh the cyans are more visual thatn dry, although both are dramatically more so for me than cubensis. However, i have not eaten cubensis in several years so the memories are not as vivid as my recent experiences wit9h woodlovers. The biggest difference i notice for sure though between woodlovers and cubensis is the next day feeling. every time i ate cubensis, i felt crappy the next day, worn out brain drained. NEVER gotten that from either woodlover. Now, it may be due to how the mushrooms were grown, but im sure they were grown by different people each time. thanks for the comments everyone! gotta wait for the rain for the experiment to contiue...
