Best night of my life, followed by garbage.

Went to the Tiesto concert here in MN. Was amazing, rolled my balls off and danced my ass off for 5 hrs straight. Prolly one of the best nights of my life.

Then the next day I find out that my roomie's in the hospital

We talk drugs n life and all that shit pretty regularly..he's my smokin buddy too.
Well he's lived all over the world, australia, thailand, vietnam, south america, europe...you name it, he's had an extended stay there.

At anyrate he's a really cool cat. He's had problems in life n whatnot, fought heroin addiction, cocaine, speed...all that jazz.

It looks like heroin finally got him though.

He moved to Minnesota to get his head straight...

The other night he was tellin me about this chic that he'd been kickin around with that could apparently get just about anything under the sun. I had him get me a few rolls (tiesto show in state)..

He got drunk earlier in the night, apparently did a QG of heron in front of the chick, she left, then he ate a triple stack... (I wasn't around for any of this..he was gonna gimme the rolls in the morning..school)

Got hauled out in the A.M by emt's when my other roomie found him in the a.m...

Dude can't hear, kidney's aren't functioning, he's prolly gonna lose his leg...left arm is paralyzed..
He very well may die.

I'm gutted over the whole thing.
Not really many people to talk about it w/ either because they're just all drug-retarted. I've brought it up to a few close people and the only response they really have is "yea heroin kills people" shit like that.

Dunno, shit sucks though.
I hate to see such a descent human being go down like this. Such a shitty thing. Honestly one of the cooler people I've met in my life..

Sorry to hear about your friend Jaspmf. I can empathize with your sincere concern. I've personally battled heroin and 250mg is an insane amount to rail, not to mention drop some roll with who knows what substances combined. I'm sending positive vibes to both you homie. I hope we can all find moderation in what we all love so much.

That's really weak that people aren't willing to look past their bias against H to see a person in pain. I can see you're different, though.

I wonder if that bias is going to keep people from visiting your friend; you might have the opportunity to really make a difference for him just by showing up here and there.

My sympathies for both of you.

This does not help you now, But I think that the consensus on this board is that topiates take non pharmaceutical organic, processed organic, and synthetic chemical compounds to enhance life. I see your friend as doing the same to live life.

Why he made the choice, I do not know. Maybe his chemistry made it inevitable, maybe it snuck up on him.

The bottom line is that that person, and any one that chooses to be around him, needs to accept that it is what it is. After that is done it is all about the choices. If you friend is truely powerless, that does not mean they lose. Like I said, it is all about the choices.

very misfortunate that that had to happen. mixing can be very dangerouse sometimes. deff visit and suport him as much as you can put your self in his shoes not cool. best of luck to him and his recovery.

Best wishes my friend. I have many close friends/family members that have battled heroin addiction in the past. I have been in and out of that scene myself. And although I have never done more than try it on occasion (in the past) I can definitely understand how it can be difficult for some people to overcome.

I hope all turns out well for you and your friend. Just be there for him. As it sounds like he would reciprocate for you.
