Moldavite, LSD, and psychic energy

Saturday night some friends of mine went to see STS9 in Nashville for Halloween. All 3 of us took a hit of acid and my one friend said his hit was kind of big. This one friend also wears a necklace with a piece of moldavite wrapped in wire. Towards the end of the show, as we were peaking on the L, the band had some technical difficulties two separate times. I didn't notice it, the band said something about it after the song was over, but my friend said he could feel it both times it happened, like it was some kind of energy wave. He said he felt it in his heart and I read that moldavite opens the heart chakra. He was really freaked out by the whole experience. He kept talking about how he could feel this energy trying to come out of the moldavite and he was shaking his hands trying to get the energy out. He said he felt like everything was happening for a reason. At one point he was about to throw the necklace off the balcony but I made him give it to me instead because I knew he'd regret doing that.
The kid we bought the L from we ran into randomly in the stairwell of the hotel looking for scissors. He had a Cookie Monster hat on which the other friend of mine was also wearing. This really made him think it was all happening for some reason.
My friend was telling a guy about the experience later in the night but didn't specifically say moldavite and the dude was like "I don't know, maybe I would believe you if it was moldavite" not even knowing that it was moldavite.
Does anyone else know much about moldavite and it's potential for channeling energy? My friend said he felt he had been puddled even though me and my other friend weren't nearly as spun. Could the moldavite have made him trip harder?

well, it was probably a psycchological thing, it was that he bellieved the moldavite to open the Heart chakra and make him more open to the subtle energies. im sure his beliefs about the stone are what made him attune to the energies. Im not saying that different stones dont tweak our vibrations for real, but this was probably the case!!!

I have worn modavite pieces during many trips and noticed no difference at all, so perhaps it's more a mental thing. Gotta love the space rocks!!!

I could definitely see that. Iv had plenty of intense and altering interactions with Moldavite just by itself....without any interaction with psychoactives. I think many gemstones/crystals/minerals are not fully understood. The Crystal Dictionaries IMO really dumb it down, and essentially just reflect the experience of the one who wrote the book.
Whether your talking about minerals or psychedelics, I find that the analogy of the car works well to describe possible relationships to it......
Some people just listen to the radio, some like the AC/Heater, while others find that adjusting the chair for maximum comfort, or the myriad of other functions satisfying.
Nevertheless, the possability of sticking the key in the ignition, taking it out of park, putting your hands on the wheel, and driving it to the destination of your choice remains as an option. That's not even getting into what kind of vehicle your driving
I believe that there is so much more to anything we know about any given thing at any given time....and the best way to learn is to gain our own information through our own experience of it's truth through our direct interaction. The books are cool at first, but they quickly become crippling.

Sorry for the little preamble ramble there .

Iv had experiences with mushrooms alone, where once dialed into some "sweet-spot" (for lack of a better term), I was a vehicle for some kind of emanations that directly impacted my physical environment...so much so that many who were sober around me asked me what was happening as they felt something moving around them, and opening them up.
Iv felt moldavite shift things pretty quickly too.

All that to say....I don't dout your friends experience at all. Im not verifying it by any means, but Im sure its possible.
There are so many variables and factors to everything we know and don't know. Everything is a multifaceted gem unto itself.

Id say...Try it again, work with it....go the distance and plumb the depths
