Invitro Ksss

Ive heard good and bad things about Ksss, I thought I'd take advantage of their puffball shape by growing them in pint jars PF style, after fully colonized ill scrape out the dry verm and sit them upside down and introduce light.

I'll be sure to post pics

Puffball shape? I never experienced that with ksss. Maybe mine were regular KS or elephant gate KS. Crazy thai..

I'm talking about Ksss that come out like this

assuming they get verticilium, I hear lots of Ksss grows end up with Verticilium for some reason

Then it could be ksss but infected with the same bug that deforms PE to what it is... Too bad mine didn't look like that!

It really looks nuts i want a print please! Only KSSS i ever seen was huge huge giant capped, lot like the F+ strain.

I have a handful of ksss jars going invitro right now, and they don't look anything like that picture.

they don't have a lot of time/space, so they end up looking like any other mushroom when you harvest.

that's what im saying, KSSS looks like any other mush, that tray looks like PE. I think it's time to start linking pics of other sites KSSS. None of them look like that. I don't think even co2 saturation would make them look like that.

I do believe UV made the pe what it is today.

im a big fan of invitro and was always intrigued by KSSS. I've never (or rarely at least) seen any invitro grows with "Eastern" strains (i think even hip acknowledges that there are differences between eastern/asian strains and western/american strains)

anyway it looks like those might have a lack of FAE, which would make sense since it looks like they were pretty cramped.

but what do i know huh?

Personally I think KSSS is one of the worst strains to work with for general yield. You can have a billion pins, and they only get to be about 1/2" tall little puff balls. The trip is good I hear however.

The pics arent mine, their from the other mushroom site, just to show an example of Ksss being puffed at the stem

Yeh thats what you told me in a different thread, thats why I thought it would be a good invitro strain, bunch of marshmellows in a jar, i'm only doing 2 jars of this ATM, cause like you said shitty yield but good potency.
Also have 4 Blue Meanie jars, 2jars and 1 Ryebag of Hillbilly from LC and 4 Amazon jars that are looking pretty good. Just had my first glovebox explosion experience yesterday, cause i'm a moron, I now have the hideous face in my Avatar, hehe just kidding. now I have a bald chest(wasn't wearing a shirt) and burns on my chest and arms. Also lost one Rye bag, it melted a bit.

Man that shit hurt bad all day yesterday, thank fuck for Aloe Vera
