Bad Idea

Alcohol is a solvent and the plastic from the bag will leach out into your distillate. Drinking plastic is not the best for you. The only things that should be in contact with your shine are stainless steel and copper. .

That looks like a prison-Tek or something... I'm not down and out enough
to drink hooch from a garbage bag.

Yet.

"That looks like a prison-Tek or something..."

Bit of a story - a number of years ago I knew a guy who had spent some time in the crowbar hotel, working in the kitchen.

He told me he used to put tomato juice in a baggie, pitch it with baker's yeast, tie a straw in the opening for an airlock and bury them in the flour bin for 3 days with only the straw sticking out.

After 3 days (the max time between spot-checks), he'd sell them to the consumers.

I can't imagine what that would taste like, but I'd bet it isn't even close to a bloody mary.

Thinking of that gave me the chills a little.
