It just looks like a bunch of people having fun. The FAQ seems kind of tongue in cheek. Like mention of the flat Earth resting on the backs of four elephants.

Naturally some people take the fun seriously, But you can tell them by the tinfoil hats and the corks in their ears.

Dont' be dissing us flat-earthers! Everyone knows the concept of a round earth was brought about by crazy liberal elitists that don't want us wandering off to the edge, only to realize that Hell lies underneath. Sheesh, and people call themselves knowledgeable.

As a Jew I am NOT a fan of eugenics, but this guy (and many on the forum-- for example the people who argue antartica is the "ice wall" which holds the oceans in, and doesnt believe it can be walked across) NEEEEEDDSSSSS to be removed from the gene pool, and earth, and existance ASAFP.

There very seriously are those out there who truely believe the old concept that the earth is in fact flat!

They'd hate to have me at their parties. I'd drink the punch, maybe two cups even, but I would have to stick by my claim that the Earth is a sphere.

I know this because I personally with my own eyes have seen it's curvature. I was stone-cold sober and in a plane flying at 55,000 feet (~16,700 m) once and at that altitude the sky is violet, Venus would be visible if it were out, and you can see the horizon gently curving "downward." It was mesmerizing to say the least. And round.

Unlike many other false beliefs, at least this one need not be very damaging to its holders, unless they were hoping for a career in the aerospace industry or a similar line of business. :-)
