hey should I contact spore works about this I wanted something that I could save not planning using it all but the problem is it looks like they started to germinate inside the syringe they just came today

also for being a member they added another A+ albino syringe with my order sweet!!! but also in the same condition I tried to shake them up but its like a small clump that clumps back together

& when you look at it its kinda cottony looking

any tips on how to store these for later use or should I contact spore works & let them know??? I dont know how they do things first time ordering syringes

anyone have this problem????

Use a beard trimmer to vibrate the syringes for about 5-10 minutes. Might break the clumps apart.

yeah but if they are starting to germinate how long can they be stored or do I need to use asap???

Well sometimes the spores will germinate in the syringes, especially if the syringe was made from fresh spores, I would personally tap that syringe against something to break the clump up and use it, as you can always stall the spawn if need be, also might wannt shoot dem bad boys in some LC

gonna use my tattoo gun to shake them up again & see what I get I wanted something that could be stored but I guess not now so I got to figure a way to use them now

I have everything for an LC but I never have luck I had a jar look like white snot & afew days later look like white powder at the bottom of the jar dont know it they ever grew or if it was from the potatoes ended up trashed

I would try to use a little and see how it goes buy if u were planing on saving them for awhile i would give them a call they are pretty cool and they will take care of u.

You could stick it in the fridge to stall it. I have a couple like that, its not a problem.

That just looks like clumped up spores to me. Mycellium is white, I see black in the syringe. Refrigerate to stall, regardless.

Almost all of mine have some growth in them.
It should not be a problem...

its white the spores are clumped in it too & yeah I wanted to be able to use alittle & save them I will call & see what they say I want to try to use 1 when I put it on the tattoo gun I dont see the white clump anymore its a little stringy on the inside but not as bad as the other

if I try to stall them how long can I do that for???

I think they would be fine if stored in the fridge. I've seen LC's stored for months that were still just fine.

Those syringes will last a while in the fridge. Just use what you need. Spores germinating in syringes is very common and not a big deal.

You can use what you need and put the rest in the fridge.
They will be fine or several months.
I like to put mine in a fresh zip lock bag and then double that bag up.
Also I keep mine in like the vegi drawer all by themselves.

When the time comes to use that syringe, there are a couple easy ways to break the clump up. You can suck a small air bubble in, and use that to mix the solution, or you can mix the way I mix.

I like to take a small bowl (cocktail sauce type), wipe with ISO, add RO water, and microwave with saran wrap on top until the water boils. Then, I let it cool and add spores. After adding spores I like to take my syringe, suck, squirt, suck, squirt, and suck 1 last time. That last suck is to prep for inoculation.

Since you have spores in your syringe, you can just squirt, suck, squirt, suck and be ready. The advantage to this is that you've got spore water (with saran wrap to keep nasties out) and you can refill your syringe as many times as needed during inoculation. However, some people may or may not agree with this process. Everyone has a tek they like to follow.

Some people load multiple syringes prior to inoculation. Sure it helps separate jars reducing possibility of cross contamination, but it also costs more. If done in a semi-clean environment, my tek is proven (by my standards) as solid.

Just don't forget to refrigerate that badboy until the time comes.

its all good!!! I did a 2nd steam on my jars 2day & they are cooling down now I'll do a 3rd steam tomorrow & inject the spores sunday night when the jars are cool

they are not in the fridge yet what ever is going on I am gonna let happen until I inject them tattoo gun & rubber band worked to shake them up quickly they both look ok now I'm not gonna worry about it if anything it will work like injecting an LC & I hope will give them a little boost to colonizing the popcorn

I just got my Taz & blue meanies prints from trades & 4 10ml syringes from ebay with 4 1/2 inch blunt tipped needles for refilling ink in printers wish I had these when I did my rice cakes

so I have a lot to work with now & I still gonna get to true value they have a sale going on 3 40lb bags of WBS for $9.99 ends soon & I need more coir cheap so I'll keep you all posted on what becomes of what!!!!

Yup your fine there.....just follow the recommendations above before you use it.

Looks fine to SWIM, just shake it well or use another method to break it up right before use.
