    New Glowing Fungi Species Found in Brazil

    Stumbled across this today. Pretty wild. Wheres the guys working to get a cross with these? i want my boomers to glow damnit heh. seem to be woodlovers, wheres the glowing pans?

    I've found a mycena that looked exactly like that though it was during the day so it's hard to say if it was bioluminescent (probably not though).

    I have found both Jack O' Lantern and Luminescent Panellus which I think are the only luminescent fungi in the northeast US.

    There is also someone working on biological path lighting. Useing different types of fungi to light garden paths and trails in the woods.

    And here is a tidbit....

    Panellus stipticus: After drying out the mushrooms stop glowing, however when they are re-moistened they become luminescent again.
