![]() | I've found a mycena that looked exactly like that though it was during the day so it's hard to say if it was bioluminescent (probably not though). I have found both Jack O' Lantern and Luminescent Panellus which I think are the only luminescent fungi in the northeast US. ![]() |

![]() | There is also someone working on biological path lighting. Useing different types of fungi to light garden paths and trails in the woods. And here is a tidbit.... Panellus stipticus: After drying out the mushrooms stop glowing, however when they are re-moistened they become luminescent again. http://maguires.com/research/index.htm
