| id be curious as to the sporeprint as well. panaeolus sphinctrinus should have a black spore print, panaeolina foenisecii sporeprint should be purple brown. the mushrooms in your pics look a bit like psathyrella candolleana..however they fruit exclusively on wood. might look at some other psathyrella complex mushrooms just to be sure...many of them demonstrate collyboid characteristics as well (ie. grow in groups often from what appears to be central stem) |

![]() ![]() | Nice pics. They look a little large to be Pan cyans, it's possible tho. They definitely should bruise blue. The spore print should be black. They could be Panaeolus antillarum, like the the ones in this photo which look like gigantic Pan cyans. (but they're not) |

![]() ![]() | I have most ceratinly seen those Panaeolus antillarum around these parts. They are always huge like that and very strong tissue. They haven't been around lately though. I have seen the Cyans around here but that strain with the brownish looking stems ( the cluster of 3 for ex.) seem to dominate the land. Sometimes they are so mixed in with each other its really hard to tell until you pick and then look at the bruising. The brown stemmed ones seem to bruise slighty I wonder if they have a small ammount of alkaloids? The cyans are almost impossible to miss as they really bruise dark blue and black. The kids in these parts cant tell the difference between them and just eat the look alikes. One came up to me the other day and said he ate 60 wet grams.... I told him that if all of the 60 wet grams he ate were active he would have seen some shit. Most of the time only about 30-40% of the ones I see are actually cyans. I try to educate the kids about it when I can but half the time they listen and the other half they're 16. It doesnt show up that well in this photo but you can see the bruising on these few that could be cyans. ![]() And a print: Looks jet black from my angle. ![]()

![]() ![]() | You never know man... Could be a variant of Pan Cyan or something. I have seen the typical Pans here and they don't seem to have that light caramel look to the tops of the caps and stems like these do. I had a little 0.5gram sample in some tea. They have the magic for sure. I was kinda tired when I drank it so I layed down and tried to take a nap. I was having mild CEVs and a definite change in thought patterns. I had these super short dreams that must have been only ~30 seconds long "world time" but seemed to last much much longer in my experience. In my trials with these exotic ladies is "wetter is better" ![]() I think it they lost alot through the drying and hot tea. Hell... This new stickypaper germination media looks pretty promising. SWIM is going to have to give it a try with one of these wild exotics soon. BTW if you want I can have a print sent your way space.
