    Fall oysters are back

    Checked my tree today, the Wood Ears are gone and my Oysters are back for another season.

    theres a winter form of oyster here in indiana too llamabox....i harvested over 12 lbs from one growth the week of CHRISTMAS last year with snow on the ground.

    Well we have had about a week of dropping below freezing at night. And these guys popped out after a couple days in the 50's.

    I just found the tree this past spring, so I will keep checking it this winter and see how long and at what temps it fruits.

    And as always I printed my collections, so if anybody wants a free one just drop me a PM.

    They were returned to the wild.
    I fully promote the "Catch and Release" philosophy, as my interest in mycology does not intrude on my interest in the culinary arts.
